Perfect place to stay in Palmetto Dunes!

What a fantastic place to stay! The whole family really enjoyed it. Great location, very updated, so much to do in the area, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Loved being walking/ biking distance to the beach, pickle ball, General Store and the Dunes House. Even biked over to see the Shelter Cove fireworks using the underpass. Will definitely stay here again.

Location was great close to all to do. Not far from the beach. Only one issue the mini ironing board doesn’t really do the job. Maybe a full sized would be better.

Such a special place! Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Prime spot facing out on the lagoon to see the wildlife, kayakers and electric boats go by. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you’d need, including new appliances. TVs are either smart tvs or have Roku so you can watch live tv or stream the apps. I like the layout of the condo with each bedroom having its own bath and located apart from each other for privacy.

Palmetto Dunes is a busy place.

The condo is so thoughtfully appointed and the deck is beautiful. I picked this property because of the deck and how peaceful it looked. What I did not realize is the main road into Palmetto Dunes is across the lagoon so you do hear a lot of road noise from everyone coming in. Otherwise it is in a good location to take the bridge behind the tennis courts to Alexanders and the General Store. And we accessed the beach at the Dunes House and enjoyed eating there as well.

The home was nice, but could use some updates and repairs - I am just putting this out there for the owners benefit. The outlet in the 2nd bathroom was so loose that plugs wouldn’t stay plugged in; the bed sheets were paper thin and an extra lightweight cotton blanket would have been nice - there were no extra blankets in the condo; he floor in front of guest bathroom closet is very dirty; corner of rug in dining room needs rug tape – it’s curled up and is a “trip hazard”; bottom of left closet door and bathroom entrance door to shower in second bathroom drag on the floor – they need planed or shaved at the bottom and the 10-digit keypad entrance number way too long – a real nuisance to have to get a piece of paper out every time you entered. That being said, the condo is in a great location, the kitchen is well equipped.

Needs a good cleaning

Let me first start out by saying the condo is in a great location. Deck is nice with a peaceful view! All that being said the place needs a good cleaning and some maintenance! Cobwebs in the windows, sills need a good cleaning, kitchen faucet needs some maintenance,( hot and cold are not connected properly) mold in the bathroom by the fan, (which does not work) needs a new shower curtain in the one bathroom, curtain tie back in the bedroom has come out of the wall and curtain just hangs while other side is attached, ( looks completely trashy) and floors are filthy! I usually do not complain a lot as people have many standards but these issues need addressing before the next renter!
