This house was the perfect size for our family and in a great location. It had everything that we needed and was clean. It is an older unit but no issue for us. The pictures also don’t show how roomy the home is either. Overall we were very satisfied with the property. C prefer the listing to have a little more detail. Floors were all uneven, flooring had gaps between boards. The small pantry in the kitchen had flooring that made it look dirty, shelves were old and yellowed. Same for the bathrooms, it was clean but discoloration made you feel otherwise. Couldn’t check in before 4pm, we arrived at the home and soon realized there was a toilet that didn’t flush. Placed a call at 5:45pm and told it was after hours and nothing could be done that night. Someone would be out the next day. Never heard from anyone so called again. This time someone was sent out to fix the toilet and a closet door that was off the track. I was there for my daughter’s wedding and didn’t need the extra stress, overall I was disappointed and wouldn’t select this unit again. ##### Deborah D. The floor looked clean, but hadn't been mopped in awhile as my bare feet can attest to. The baseboards were dirty as were the white handrails and hall wall. They offered to clean it for us, but I declined as their standard for cleanliness is clearly different than mine. Also, I didn't want to let them in without me being there and I didn't want to wait for them since I was on vacation. The flooring is newer, but the entire condo looked tired. The fireplace is wood burning, so basically not usable and there are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. That is my bad for not looking at the pictures better. ##### Janet N. The unit is very spacious. The unit and property manager s very outdated with poor craftsmanship. The sinks in the bedroom bathrooms are child height. Here are lots going f trees on the property so all the furniture on the decks are moldy. There were 5 of us and 4 cars but they would only give 3 parking passes - 1 per room - I found that out after I sent 2 messages and received a call back the next day…not very timely so we had to make other arrangements. Overall…would stay again just because of location and amount of space. Only a short walk to the beach. ##### Lisa C. The beach is within walking distance. The property was well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen for cooking in. I love the extra living room and seating area off the kitchen. The dust was hanging out! The temperature inside was either freezing or hot! The location was great. The parking was a mess. Trees need to be taken out. Not enough bike racks either. Almost everyone rides bikes in Hilton Head. Kitchen was well stocked. No blinds on the large window in kitchen, so no privacy and the sun poured in to heat up the room each day. The worst was the two huge skylights over the bed. There was no sleep after sunrise! Yes, I will continue to stay in Shipyard just no this condo. ##### Susan S. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2019 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Bill S. 9 févr. 2019 #### All beds upstairs. The stairs were way too steep - even dangerous. We went home. We rented a unit close to the tennis courts starting Sunday and ending on Friday. Upon arrival Sunday at 8 pm, the door code provided did not work. We drove around the neighborhood trying to figure out where the place was. We finally called the Emergency number and were told we were at the wrong location and advised to go to another address. However, upon arrival, the occupants took a dim view of us trying to gain entry with the bogus code. So, we called the Emergency number again. Incidentally, it is located in Montana. After getting no where with them, we were finally given a local number. That person created a new door code and told us to go back to the first place. Then it worked. After an hour of this, we finally got into what we had paid for. That first night, we couldn't get the TVs to operate or the shower in the Master Bath to come on. The next day, we called the office and they sent the Operations Manager, Richard, and he fixed everything promptly. Richard was great!! The TV and shower were due to our own ignorance on how to operate them. We mentioned that we had expected the master bedroom to be on the first floor because the stairs were just too difficult/dangerous. Richard told us to call the office and gave us the number. We called, explained the problem and asked to be moved to a unit we could actually live in. We were told a manager would call us shortly, but nothing happened. We have spoken to folks at Vacasa 3 subsequent times and were promised that a manager would return our call every time, but nothing - absolutely no return call and now, it is 5 days later. So, we went home on Wednesday, forfeiting our tennis camp and the rental home. Never heard from them since. Needless to say, we'll never use Vacasa again. ##### Bill S. Séjour de 5 nuits en janvier 2019 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Diane Z., North East, PA 17 juin 2018 #### Loved Hilton head island and shipyard plantation area Loved the area of beach walk 111\. Was very close to beach and the pool was great. The condo was clean and well stocked but, most of the cupboards were broken and the whole condo could use some upkeep. ##### Diane Z.
