The location itself plus the proximity to the beach was great. There are a couple simple and inexpensive things that could be done to make the experience so much better though. First, beach towels would be a great improvement to the stay. We have never stayed at a beach front rental that did not supply beach towels. This would have helped us tremendously considering that we used air travel for this vacation. Beach front property/pool should equal beach towels. Second, coffee filters. Every coffee maker requires a different filter which makes it difficult to know what you need ahead of time, yet there were none supplied. I even contacted Vacasa and they verified that coffee filters were not provided. Such a simple and cheap thing that could be done! Now the major thing that NEEDS to be addressed is the carpet. It is extremely worn with obvious stains in areas plus has a musty smell to it which is understandable considering people are coming in and out from the pool and beach with wet bodies and feet. Some vinyl plank flooring to replace the carpet would be a HUGE improvement and honestly, a necessary one. The last thing that I would say is that the bike path/walking gate code we were provided was incorrect. I tried contacting Vacasa regarding this and they said they were opening a ticket about it but I never heard back. We had to jump the fence if we wanted to get out and use the path. ##### melissa K. Unit showed wear and tear. Both bathrooms are upstairs. Access to the beach was much closer from back door but you can’t lock the back door from outside so you had to walk around unit. The path to the beach is steps from the back door and the pool is even closer. Coligny is a 5 minute bike ride. As to the unit, it has everything you need. Beds were comfortable and bedding for the sofabed is in the bedroom closet (referring to previous review that there are no extra blankets). Also, in response to a previous review, the door leading out from the kitchen locks fine. You just have to push the doorknob in. We are already planning to return to this unit.
