Shorewood 231 - Beautifully Furnished 2BR/2BA Ocean Side Unit

With a balcony accessible by the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Shorewood 231 enjoy a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean as well as the courtyard & Shorewood pool area. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean via Shorewood's beach walkway and then dip into the freshwater swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30. Dates could vary slightly.
Toddlers have a separate wading pool. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Also nearby is the new Low Country Celebration Park. King bed in the master, 2 Twins in BR 2 plus a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Two Fully Equipped Bathrooms (with hair dryers), full size washer & dryer plus 3 Tv's including a 65" Television in the living room. Your Shorewood vacation awaits!

From the time of booking, the communication was excellent. The unit was as described and clean. We didn't cook much, but kitchen appeared well stocked. As others mentioned, the couch was not the most comfortable, but that is a very picky critique. Beds were very comfortable! The pool was clean and well maintained, lots of chairs even during a busy July week. Short walk to beach on the private boardwalk. Loved walking and riding bikes to Coligny. Farm stand with local produce was set up across the street each day. Highly recommend.

The property was exactly as described, loved the ocean, pool, the location, especially the tiki bar. We rode bikes everywhere and just loved it. The condo layout is spaceous.

We had a great time here. The condos were oceanfront and the pool was amazing. We loved spending time on the balcony. The condo itself was as pictured and very nicely updated. Loved the floors. It is within walking distance to the Coligny shops and restaurants. We walked or rode our bikes everywhere for the week (other than an day trip to Savannah, which I highly recommend). The only thing I would say that would be an improvement would be to have key code access and directions sent to your phone or email rather than having to stop at the rental agency (off-site about a mile away) to obtain.

Property manager was responsive to information about check in and check out and any questions we had. When we arrived the condo was not very clean. They did not offer enough towels or wash cloths per bathrooms. They also did not offer any extra trash bags or extra toilet paper. I did reach out to Property manager and she offered to have cleaning lady come back. The overall villas were nice and clean. The pool area was large for our kids to enjoy themselves with the kiddie pool area and shallow entrance to main pool.

Perfect location!! Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Bike paths are close with bike rentals. Easy access to the beach. The only drawback, is the overwhelming amount of mosquitoes!!! I have NEVER experienced that many mosquitoes at a beach before and we've vacationed at a lot of beaches. Why don't they treat in this area?

This Villa was the cleanest one I have ever stayed in. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We never heard any hallway, elevator or above unit noise. The access to the pool and beach are so close. The heated pool was beautiful and never overcrowded. I would definitely stay here again. Deb, the owner was always extremely prompt to reply to emails and even called us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. Hilton Head is a great place to vacation. This Villa was perfect. You can walk to Coligny plaza very easily. I was extremely pleased with our stay.

The check in process was easy and the condo was tastefully decorated and very clean. The owners gave us excellent information on bike rentals and excursions and checked in with us throughout our stay. Our kids loved the proximity to the ocean and Coligny Plaza. My husband and I looked through dozens of two bedroom condos before deciding on the south forest beach area. We found this development and unit and it looked too good to be true. The pics looked incredible and the price was right - I was only concerned about the lack of reviews. Thankfully this unit meets the photos and description perfectly. Deb responded quickly to questions I had prior to arrival. She even called midday through our stay to check in on everything. She wa sa fantastic host. Shorewood is walking distance to coligny plaza and has its own pool and beach access with showers. It worked well for our family. Our kids spent hours in the pool. There is covered parking and bike racks everywhere. The unit itself was beautifully renovated. We stay in a lot of condos and this was one of our favorites. The kitchen was large and all the appliances were new. The living rooms had very comfy furniture with a nice large modern tv. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. There is access to the lanai from the living room and master. This is a beautiful and well maintained condo in a nice development that’s convenient to everything.
