The property is conveniently located at the front of the Beachwalk complex in Shipyard Plantation, a quiet neighborhood southeast of the William Hilton Parkway. You can take the path outside the townhouse to the beach, just a third of a mile away. Cross the street to play tennis at the Van der Meer Tennis Center or stay at home to swim in the shared pool right outside your condo.

The townhouse offers two living rooms with soft chairs, TVs, and large windows, including two skylights. The kitchen comes well-equipped, so you can cook all your favorite meals. The primary bedroom has pool views, a skylight, a TV, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Free WiFi and a private washer/dryer round out the conveniences of this home.

Favorite place to stay on HHI so far!

We came to Shipyard plantation due to attending a conference held at Sonesta resort. It was a perfect location! Easy walk to the resort and to the beach. Nicely shaded areas for biking and paved path to beach for easy biking or strolling (with infant). The condo was well-stocked with all of the necessities. The only down side to this condo was the fact that it lets in a lot of natural lights with sky lights in the master bedroom and no curtains on windows in the other rooms (just blinds). This makes it hard to sleep past sunrise or allow infants/ children to take a good nap during the day. Overall great place and will probably look at staying here again in the future!

Loved it!

The condo was roomy and very spacious. Brought my family to Hilton head for a vacation. The home was beautiful and well stocked. Loved every bit of it. Easy check-in, easy checkout, and I loved the ability to stay later than the normal check out. It worked well for my family.

Last Minute Choice

We were able to find this place at Hilton Head at the last minute, after Hurricane Isaiah cancelled our plans for a vacation in North Carolina the prior week. We were pleasantly surprised at the location and the closeness to the beach. The house was large enough for a family of 7. We took advantage of the trails to go on bike rides and play tennis on the plantation grounds. It was a good ending to cancelled vacation plans.

Great place, poor management communication

My family loved the home but we had a terrible time with flies and have yet to hear from a manager. One person came out and after calling him AGAIN he said he killed 12-15 flies. This is after we killed several the night before. Very bizarre. We were also informed a grill was at the location and there was not. I tried contacting the rental company with no reply. Communication goes a long way.

Roomy, all updated and close to the beach are the best things. Owners are great and well informed about HHI activities, restaurants and area in general.
