This tastefully decorated home keeps you close to the beach and exciting resort amenities! Newly remodeled, this home boasts an updated kitchen, handsome hardwood floors, upscale furnishings and large windows promoting abundant natural light. You will immediately notice the attention to detail. The Space: Palm Paradise offers a blend of comfort and quality, perfect to rest and recharge during your island vacation. Located just 0.6 miles from the beach, it’s a breeze to hop on your bike and soak in the coastal beauty. Other amenities near your vacation rental include PGA Tour golf courses, pickle ball and tennis courts, a forest preserve, miles of flat bike paths, horse stables (0.9 Miles away). Explore shops and eateries around South Beach Marina (3.8 miles away) and Harbor Town Marina, (2.3 miles away). Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the backyard path leading directly to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. There’s no need to ever leave Sea Pines while on vacation! Bicycles are a popular mode of transportation on Hilton Head. You can rent bikes by the day or the week at several bike rental companies nearby and they will drop them off and pick them up for you! We had great communication with host during our stay. The online description failed to mention that there was a step- down from eating area to family room/ sitting area. My elderly mother fell , as she missed seeing this step down, two times. I had reserved a one level home hoping to avoid any problems. Among us was a 7-month pregnant lady, whose comfort was our top priority. However, the very next morning, we discovered bedbugs in one of the rooms. We promptly reported the issue at 8:30 AM via the 24-hour hotline, expecting swift action. We were assured that the matter was escalated and that the local manager, Erin, would contact us within 30 minutes to an hour. As time ticked past 10 AM with no word, we reached out again, only to be told that Erin was searching for an alternative property for us. By 11:30 AM, still without any communication, we visited the local Vacasa office seeking answers. It was then we learned that a pest control confirmation was required before any decisions could be made—a detail that should have been communicated from the start. At 1 PM, Erin finally reached out with alternative properties. I immediately accepted the offer to move, but the follow-up was non-existent. Calls to the hotline resulted in conflicting information about the possibility of moving and the laundering of our belongings. Promises of a hotel room and reimbursement were made and then abruptly disconnected. In the end, we were left stranded without accommodation for the evening, with only a refund of our booking as a resolution. The lack of communication, coordination, and empathy from Vacasa’s team was appalling. ##### Pratik P.
