Bathroom receptacles in 2 of 3 bathrooms does not allow plug in of hair dryers (poor location). Old furniture / decor. Also found 3 dead cockroaches. Fire detector in extra bedroom was old and should have been replaced years ago. Overall it was ok but owners need to invest some $$ to make this a pleasant stay for future guests. Access to beach, pool, bike paths, grill house and island amenities is excellent. The layout of the unit worked very well for my wife, myself and adult daughter ( it was a real plus to have washer and dryer and two-and-a-half bathrooms). The unit could use updating here and there, but only for cosmetic purposes. The only real issue we had was the cleanliness of the unit. The floor was not clean (gritty to bare feet), both decks were covered with leaves and pine straw, dishware and cookware had been washed but had remnants of food particles, and the second bedroom had cracker wrapping underneath the bed. A little more attentiveness by the cleaners, and this place is perfect. Also, just be aware there are two flights of stairs to climb ( was not an issue for us.....a little exercise!) ##### bill e. We are both 68 and probably will have to book a ground level for our next trip. Hickory Cove fits us better. Too many steps for my back and her feet but very nice and very convenient. ##### Jim L.
