Looking for the perfect retreat? Look no further. This beautiful, fifth row home in Sea Pines has everything you’re looking for! And it Is just a five minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to The Salty Dog. Ideal for families, golfers, retirees, and the avid tennis player(maximum occupancy of 8 guests)! 49 S. Beach Lane is located in the desirable, gated community of Sea Pines Plantation offering three professional golf courses, one of which is Harbour Town, home of the Heritage Golf Classic in April. In addition to the beaches there are 20 miles of walking and bike paths that wind throughout the plantation, horse stables, playground, and the Sea Pines Beach Club The fully equipped kitchen has beautiful granite countertops with a small table for up to 6\. Through the kitchen is the back entrance with the washer & dryer and a door to access the pool. As you enter the bright foyer, there is a large living area that offers plenty of seating, decorative fireplace, a game table for four and door to the patio. The dining room has a table for eight and a wet bar that overlooks the living area. The den is off of the dining room with a large bay window, two couches and flat screen TV. Down the hallway to the right is the spacious master bedroom with a king bed, sitting area with two chairs, wall-mounted flat screen TV, and a newly renovated private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a king bed with double window and plenty of closet space. The third bedroom has two twins. These bedrooms share the hallway bathroom that includes double vanity and tub/shower combination. The fourth bedroom is off the kitchen with a queen size bed, TV, private bath and step-in shower. Great for grandparents or teenagers who like to sleep late! Outside you will find a large pool, charcoal grill, table and chairs seating four. The patio to the right of the pool offers additional seating. A close walk to the beach, the house is one house over from the beach path. The beach is 0.2 tenths of a mile away, so very close! House location is good, pool is great and house is clean. We enjoyed our stay and we can mostly tolerate anything for a week as long as it’s clean. House really needs some updates, such as a new stove. I couldn’t even get water to boil. Also, the only TV for family viewing is located in the den and it wouldn’t even seat our group of 7 comfortably for a movie night. They should really consider putting a tv in the larger gathering room. The beds seemed a little old and not very comfortable. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but would probably pick another house. ##### Scott H. Apr 19, 2021 #### March 2021 Stay We will not be booking another rental through Island Getaways. The oven did not work for 2 weeks of our 4 week stay. The toaster did not work as well and was eventually replaced. The pool was supposed to be cleaned twice a week and was only cleaned once a week. The debris in the pool and the scum on the top was horrible. The grill was a mess so we had to buy our own - especially since the oven wasn't working. WiFi was intermittent and made it difficult to work from the house. Response from Island Getaways and attention to the issues was extremely disappointing. Our daughter who is a realtor and property manager in Ohio eventually had to call for us to get things taken care of. Horrible service. ##### Nicole P. Great location to walk to beach and bike around town. We did have an issue with the grill. It’s needs to be maintained or replaced. It had so much grease that it caught on fire when we started it up. The house was immaculate and perfectly suited for our 5 adults, 5 year old, and 8 month old. Lots of room to spread out. The pool was a favorite! Short walk to the beach. We are returning again next year! One suggestion is that the wrought iron furniture on the upper patio and the Chase lounges on the pool level are badly rusted and need to be replaced or repaired. Also, a TV in the king bed guest room would be a welcome addition. Finally, a full size ironing board and full size iron would be appreciated. The home is very well appointed and comfortable to visit!
