Welcome to The Lyons and Hilton Head Island, voted #1 best island in the U.S. for the 8th year in a row! (Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards.) We would love to welcome you to America's favorite island with its beautiful beaches, gorgeous landscapes, great golf courses, amazing restaurants, and where lifelong memories are made!

Four bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, make this beautifully furnished beach house a perfect gathering place for large families, golf and tennis groups, or a wonderful vacation with friends! There is also another half bathroom on the first floor. The 2400 square foot villa overlooks a fenced in swimming pool and is just a 5-7 min walk to the entrance of Islanders Beach Park, right across the street from the Lyons. Go through the parking lot and you'll be at the nice boardwalk to the beach! Follow our Instagram page hiltonhead7lyons for more information about the island and the property.

Ready to relax? Adirondack chairs greet you on the front porch, ready to help you unwind during your stay here. It is a great area for morning coffee, evening cocktails, and everything in between! Sit and relax with a beautiful landscape view from the elevated porch, a flight of stairs leads to it from the carport. In the living room, a large flat screen streaming TV provides plenty of entertainment. 5G Wi-Fi is provided so that multiple devices can be connected.

The spacious renovated kitchen is well stocked with all of the cookware and dishes you will need to make you feel right at home. The dining table seats 8 with 2 additional chairs at the kitchen island.

The first-floor bedroom offers a King bed and a large private bathroom with a walk-in shower and double vanity. There is a large laundry room with a full size washer and dryer, very useful for traveling families and those staying for multiple weeks. The laundry room and a half bathroom complete the first floor.

Upstairs is a loft area with a sleeper sofa and a flat screen streaming TV. It is a perfect gathering space after a day at the beach or on the golf course, it is also great as an extra entertainment area. If needed for additional sleeping arrangements, bedding can be provided for the sleeper sofa. The 3 upstairs bedrooms are configured with their own private bathrooms which are so nice to have for larger families or groups traveling together. Two of the upstairs bedrooms provide King beds for comfortable sleeping. Two Queen beds in another bedroom provide sleeping for a family of 4. Each room has a flat screen TV, set up for streaming. Ceiling fans in every room help keep the indoor temperature cool. Grab bars have been added in 3 of the bathrooms while there is a bench in the oversized shower of the 4th bathroom (attached to the bedroom with 2 Queen beds).

The fenced in pool is heated March 1 to October 31. It is limited to only the guests staying at the Lyons. The Lyons is a small community of 12 homes in Port Royal Village, each building houses 2 villas. An outdoor shower (perfect for rinsing off sand) and gas grills add to the convenience of this home. The carport fits 4 cars (helps to keep cool in the summer), and 2 more cars can fit in the driveway. A flight of stairs takes you to the front porch.

We make updates to the property every year. There is no carpet in the entire villa to keep it fresh and bright. We are consistently replacing or adding new pots/pans and other cookware. In 2024, we replaced many items to keep the unit looking fresh - including the porch ceiling fan, floor lamps in the family room, and a new dishwasher. We also touched up paint.

Play the Port Royal golf courses without leaving the plantation. Play tennis and pickle ball at the Port Royal Golf and Racquet Club. Walk to the Westin Hotel for great dining or to the Namaste Spa at Marriott's Barony Beach Club for some pampering. Walk to the beach. We love the location, and you will too!

Interested in riding bikes around the island? There are numerous bike rental options. You will love the many paths as well as riding bikes on the beach! Hilton Head Island has earned Gold designation by the League of American Bicyclists for being a bicycle friendly community.

If our calendar shows that we are booked the week you would like to travel, we will be glad to refer you to one of our neighbors with a similar villa. Also, if you are interested in booking for more of a long-term stay, please ask us about the multi-week discount.

We allow bookings up to 2 years in advance. During the busy season (spring break, summer, early fall), all bookings are Saturday to Saturday only, otherwise it is a 2 night minimum stay. $250 cleaning fee will be added to each stay.

Why do we love the Port Royal Village area so much? It is easy access to a lot of fantastic restaurants, like Skull Creek Boathouse and Old Oyster Factory. You can get on and off the island faster which is great if you want to go into Bluffton for the day (great outlet malls!) or into Savannah. The beach is so close! Nearby golf courses, tennis courts, and putt-putt are other reasons why it's so convenient here. And don't forget that you are next to the Westin and Marriott Barony Beach Club which have fabulous spas and dining! We absolutely love it here and are confident you will too!

Great Family Gathering place

Lovely week there. Very nice accommodations. We have small grandchildren (under the age of two), and when we first arrived, the floors were very dirty. Their little feet were black on the bottom! We vacuumed and steam mopped throughout the week to maintain it. Otherwise the stay was wonderful!

Beauty near the Beach

The house was exactly as advertised. Roomy. Clean. Updated. No problems. The area was fantastic with our shared pool, always room for all 9 of us in the pool, most of the time only us. Short walk to the beach, through a park setting with a playground, bathrooms, showers, scenic walkway through the Live Oaks - just magical. The beach was white sand for miles, warm water, dolphins. Had a wonderful week. The owner was great, providing us with everything we needed. Will stay there again.

Beuutiful Beach Home

What a beautiful home and an even more gracious host. Julie was amazing from the beginning of the booking process, until our time of departure. The home is exactly as described and our family loved having a bathroom in each bedroom. Home was immaculately clean. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked. The beach wagon was a plus with the 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Lovely pool was right outside our door. Our favorite VRBO by far and we hope to stay here again!

First Time to Hilton Head for a Girls’ Getaway

This Duplex was nicely appointed and had everything that we would need for our trip. The area is very well kept and has beautiful landscaping with lots of trees and shrubbery. The area is very quiet and we never heard the neighbor in the adjacent duplex. The pool was a stone’s throw from our balcony. It was a short walk to the beach through a lovely wooded park with a ramp to the beach and restrooms. We rented bikes and rode them all over the island. We enjoyed everything HH has to offer and would stay at this property again. Julie, the owner was tremendous to work with and communicated well and often. She answered lots I of questions and gave lots of suggestions for restaurants. This was a A+ for location and a attractive, large home.

Great place for our family

The property was accurately described in the listing ie no surprises. It was also really nice that each family had their own bathroom plus the 1/2 bath downstairs was convenient. The walk to the beach was 7-10 minutes according to how fast you walk and if you have little ones. The parking underneath was great for keeping cars out of the rain and a great place for bikes to be parked. The pantry was nice so we could store all our food and snacks. Host did a great job communicating and responding to any issues or questions. Definitely recommend.

Amazing week!

This trip to Hilton Head was one for the books! Julie is an amazing host; very responsive. The property was exactly as advertised and well stocked with beach items for the very short walk to the beach. We spent many mornings having coffee on the porch overlooking the pool. Along with many afternoon cocktails doing the same. It’s a short drive to many different restaurants that can accommodate everyone’s tastes. Julie is a rockstar and you can’t miss with this property. Hopefully things line up and we’ll book again next year!!

Lyons 7

Perfect lay out for our family! The kids loved being able to ride their bikes to the beach. The beach is a public beach and more crowded than what we’ve experienced the last two years at Hilton Head. We loved the location. Not so much traffic but easy access to restaurants and entertainment!

Good beach house!

Home was recently updated inside. The pictures in the VRBO listing do not do it justice. All four bedrooms have their own bathroom. Parking for up to four cars underneath the building. Pool is pleasant. There is a covered porch, but it can be buggy outside. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. Beach wagon and some beach chairs are provided. Two areas are available for sitting, reading, and playing games.

Great Stay!

Perfect for our family. The main bedroom is downstairs and separate from the others which worked perfectly for us, the grandparents. The front porch was so relaxing and had enough seating to enjoy early morning coffee and evening cocktails. The kitchen had enough space for food preparation for large group as well as a pantry for food storage. We rented bikes which made trips to beach so easy. The Hilton Head Trolley stop is across the street which made for a great excursion to get ice cream with grandkids. Overall great accommodations and great location. Julie was quick to respond to our needs and a terrific host!
