8 Ketch is a fabulous oceanfront home in the Palmetto Dunes community on Hilton Head Island. Located on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, this home features tasteful furnishings, new wood floors throughout, and a spacious oceanfront pool and spa - all accompanied by breathtaking ocean views! In all, it is the perfect escape for family and friends.

Upon entering the home, guests will find a wall of windows with ocean views, and a vaulted ceiling in the living room. There is a gray sectional, two leather recliners with ottomans, and a mounted 55” TV over the fireplace on the shiplap accent wall. The fully equipped kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, double ovens, two dishwashers, and four bar stools at the center island. Behind the couch is the wooden dining room table that seats ten. There is a door that leads to the outside. Behind the living room is a wine fridge and a granite countertop. Down the hall from the kitchen is a laundry room with full-size washer/dryer.

Off the living room is the master suite with a king bed, desk and chair, two accent chairs, and a 48” TV. The sliding door opens to the pool deck and has ocean views. The master bathroom has double granite vanities, a walk-in closet, and a walk-in shower with bench seat. To the left of the entrance is a guest bedroom with two twin beds with anchor bedspreads and a 32” TV. The private bathroom has double granite vanities, a separate tub, and a walk-in shower.

To the right of the entrance is a large room that can be used as an additional bedroom or media room. This room has vaulted ceilings with skylights, a desk and chair, a red leather sectional that opens to a queen bed, a blue leather armchair with ottoman, and a mounted 70” TV. There is also a set of stairs that lead to the additional sitting room. This room has a blue leather sofa and a bathroom with a single vanity and walk-in shower.

On the second floor are the remaining four bedrooms and the lounge area, all which are carpeted. The first bedroom has a slanted vault ceiling with skylights, a king bed, and a mounted 36” TV. The private bathroom has a single vanity and a walk-in shower. The bedroom across the hall has a king bed and four extra long twin beds, and a mounted 32” TV. This room has a wall of windows that show the ocean. The bathroom is shared with the hall and has a single granite vanity and a walk-in shower. At the other end of the hall there is a bedroom with two king beds, an armchair, and a mounted 40” TV. This room has ocean views as well. The final bedroom has a king bed, two leather recliners, ocean views, and a mounted 40” TV. These two rooms have access to the hall bathroom with double granite vanities and a walk-in shower. Swinging doors may be used for privacy at opposite ends of the hallway.

The oceanfront pool is the perfect setting for lounging, grilling, and relaxing. The very large deck with bench seats, comes equipped with a Char-Broil propane grill and a grilling and prep area for the chef. The large kidney shaped pool is great for families and has an elevated spa that waterfalls into the pool, all of this while enjoying the breathtaking ocean views that will remind you why you get away to Hilton Head Island! There are six lounge chairs and a teal high-top table that seats six. Plus, guests can enjoy a Ping-Pong table for tournaments in the garage! There are decorative lights that hang on the ceiling, a round high-top table with four stools, a couch, full-size fridge, and a mounted 40” Roku TV. This is the perfect home for your next escape to Hilton Head!

Palmetto Dunes is one of the premiere areas of Hilton Head Island and has three miles of beach, three signature golf courses, world-renowned tennis, and an 11-mile lagoon system where guests can kayak, canoe and fish. There are miles of leisure paths that weave throughout the resort that are great for walking, jogging, and biking. Plus, Shelter Cove Marina on Broad Creek is close by where you will find live entertainment, restaurants, and shops.
