The yard is beautifully landscaped and there are the southern style petticoat stairs leading up to the front door. Lots of windows to let in the sunlight and provide you with beautiful views of the back pool deck and ocean. Entering the home at ground level brings you to one of the two living areas in the house plus there are four bedrooms on this level. This is a great place for the family to gather for a game of pool on the pool table or grab a game or puzzle. The living area has a navy blue L-shaped couch and a 60” Sharp TV mounted on the wall. The sliding glass doors from the living room bring you out to the backyard. Behind the couch is a bathroom with a single vanity with granite countertop and a walk-in shower. To the right of the door is Bedroom #1 with two sets of twin bunk beds, an accent chair, a large walk-in closet and a 23” TV with Roku. The private bathroom has a granite topped single vanity and a tub/shower combo. At the other end of the hall is Bedroom #2 with two double beds, two accent chairs, a large walk-in closet and a 32” TV. This room has views of the backyard and pool deck. The ensuite bath has a single granite topped vanity and a walk-in shower. To the left of the entrance are two more bedrooms. Bedroom #3 has a king bed, accent chair, walk-in closet and 32” TV with Roku. This room has a private bathroom as well which has a single vanity and walk-in shower. Bedroom #4 has two twin beds an accent chair and a 32” TV with Roku. Upstairs, where the main living area is, there are beautiful light gray hardwood floors throughout and exposed beam, high ceilings in the dining room and living room plus a wall of windows providing you with stunning ocean views. To the right of the front door is a small round table that seats two. A nice place to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee. The dining room is in front of the entrance and has a large wooden table that seats eight. To the right of the entrance is a bedroom with a king size bed, accent chair and 47” TV w/Roku & DVD player inside the armoire. The ensuite bath has granite topped double vanity and a walk-in shower with the rain showerhead and hand-held wand. This room also has a large walk-in closet. On the other side of the dining room is a bathroom in the hallway with a pedestal sink and walk-in shower. Next to this is a bedroom with two twin beds and a large built-in bookshelf with books. In the living room there is a large tan L-shaped couch with chaise lounge, 4 accent chairs and an 85” Samsung TV mounted on the wall. The cabinet under the TV has a bunch of games for the family to enjoy. Behind the living room is another bedroom with a king size bed, accent chair and 32” Roku TV. The sliding glass doors open to an outdoor deck where there are two lounge chairs for you to relax while taking in the ocean sights and sound. The private bathroom has a marble double vanity with glass bowls, a separate jetted tub, and a walk-in shower with the rain showerhead and hand-held wand. There is an 18” TV mounted on the wall for you to enjoy as you soak in the tub. The large, gourmet, fully equipped kitchen is off the living room. There is an extra-large island with a small sink, ice maker, wine fridge and 3 stools. The smaller island next to it has the flat top stove. Beautiful white and gray marble countertops and stainless steel appliances including two dishwashers and a Sub Zero refrigerator. The back of the kitchen has a glass topped table that seats eight. The laundry room is behind the kitchen and offers a sink, washer, dryer, extra refrigerator and plenty of cabinet space. From the kitchen or living room there are sliding doors that open to an outdoor covered deck with ceiling fans, a round table that seats four, and a couch plus two chairs with ottomans. There is a beverage center that has a mini fridge and microwave. A 46” TV is mounted over the electric fireplace. Stairs lead down to the stunning backyard with a pool and spa, 7 lounge chairs, 7 additional chairs and a patio love seat. Under the deck is a covered patio with ceiling fans, a table that seats six, two chairs with small tables next to them and an outdoor shower. Beyond the pool is a putting green with four holes for you to practice your golf game. When you are tired of lounging by the pool, you can take the private beach path and head to the ocean. This home is stunning, offers plenty of room for everyone and amenities that will entertain the whole family. Right on the beach with our own path. Took one star off cleanliness because had to wait for pool to be cleaned but it was remedied promptly. Wonderful location in Sea Pines and we had bikes delivered and rode on beach and to close activities. Some reviews mention some parts of house are a bit dated and the lower level feels more lake house than beach house but the rest of house is very nice and has everything we needed. I chose this specific property for a sister’s trip (with daughters) - aged 30-70\. The property was well-located and included a private pool and a nice covered outdoor space on the upper level. A house next door (& very close) is under construction with large cement truck and other service vehicles blocking access to this house. This along with the noise reduced our ability to relax and enjoy our space. The house was clean but really beat up and there is a major problem with moisture. The lower level has a strong odor of mold/mildew. And, there is mold growing on a ceiling beam on the upper level. Had I been aware of this before we had all settled in, I would have contacted the property manager and requested to be moved. This was a special gathering and I didn’t want to create chaos, but in hindsight, I wish I had. Jun 12, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### One of the better options Overall, I'd have to say that this was a great option for our family's Hilton Head vacation. We've been to the island many times, and this may be our favorite spot yet. The location is fantastic. If you're not familiar with the island, you want to be on the water in the South Beach area. Nothing beats it. The house is easy walking distance to the Salty Dog and the marina. Probably 10 minutes on foot, or three minutes on bike (rent the bikes, you won't regret it). The house has a sort of covered outdoor deck/room that we really enjoyed. Great place for congregating in the morning before the heat of the day, or eating dinner. The ocean / Sound view is actually better than what you see in the listing's pictures. If you're renting a place this large, you probably have kids in your party. That means you're wondering about the pool. The pool is crucial for the kids! We were actually very pleasantly surprised with the pool. It's larger than it looks in the pics, and it's about 6' on the deep end, which is deeper than the 5' you usually see in other properties on the island. If you pay for the heating (which you should), the hot tub, which is actually connected to the pool, is a very nice bonus. The ocean / Sound was a very short walk down the private path. The beach is very wide in this part of the island. The kitchen was well stocked, and the house just felt cozy. Some downsides. We have been to HH for 30 years and have rented a house for 7 years in a row for our kids and grandkids now at ages to enjoy. We have always wanted to be close to the beach for ease and activities. This was easily the best so far--clean, bright, spacious, oceanfront with a spectacular view! Quieter as on the toe in Sea Pines-a little farther drive in but worth getting a way a bit more. The kitchen was beautiful and spacious. Separate ice machine was nice. Plenty of bedrooms for couples, singles and kids of multiple ages. Upstairs and downstairs common areas. The pool and hot tub attached were excellent, with neat outside area including putting green. The grandkids were fascinated to see deer coming through back of the property at dusk. Super easy back and forth from house/pool to beach, making it very convenient to switch back and forth. Great TVs although we didn't use much! Wifi good as one of our sons had to do a bit of virtual work there. The pool table could use a bit of repair, although we were focused on different form of pool. This is a beautiful property! The upper deck as well as the family room have a fabulous view of the ocean. The backyard was the site of much of our celebration, but when the rain hit, there was PLENTY of space indoors for our group of 17\. There were a few minor issues and maintenance team responded promptly.
