Just steps from the sand, this 3 level, 3 bedroom and 4-bath Palmetto Dunes villa will surely meet all of your expectations for the perfect Hilton Head Island vacation. The ground-level entry foyer shows off easy-care tile flooring that is found throughout the villa. To the right is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. Straight ahead are 2 spacious bedrooms, one with 2 queen-size beds and the other with a king bed. Each bedroom has a TV, windows with a beach view and a slider door to the patio, and a recently renovated private bath with tiled walk-in shower. To the left of the foyer, a spiral staircase leads to the 2nd level and the villa's common areas. The living room features a high cathedral ceiling, a wall mounted flat screen TV, a comfortable seating group, and a wall of windows with a slider door to the ocean facing balcony. The adjoining dining room has a table with seating for 6 and a second wall of windows with a slider to the balcony. Along with the panoramic beach view, the awning-shaded balcony offers an outdoor dining table for 4. Behind the dining room is a galley kitchen with all full-size appliances, new countertops, and a breakfast/serving counter with 2 stools. A full size bathroom is located just past the kitchen with a tub/shower combination. Another spiral staircase goes to the 3rd level where there is a secluded primary suite with a queen-size bed, a TV, a walk-in closet, a large window overlooking the ocean, and a renovated private bath with a tiled walk-in shower. Beach Villa, Hilton Head, South Carolina is located in an ocean front complex within Palmetto Dunes Resort, directly on the ocean and steps away from an on-site pool, open April through September. The Beach Villa Hilton Head complex is close to the Dune House Restaurant. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex. Palmetto Dunes is an oceanfront resort on Hilton Head Island that stretches from the 3 miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under the William Hilton Parkway that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina and Towne Centre. Located mid-island on 2,000 acres of lush island landscapes, Palmetto Dunes boasts one of the East Coast's premiere beaches, championship golf and tennis, and miles of bike and walking trails in a tranquil setting. It was an incredible place! The layout was perfect, and super spacious. Great view of the ocean! But then, I was sleeping in one of the queen beds on the bottom level, and found a huge stain on the comforter that appeared to be blood. To make things 100x worse, you could clearly tell it had not been washed because the stain was crusty.. After that, I questioned the cleanliness of everything. The coffee pot was also gross and had to be washed and there were food remains on the balcony floor. Other than that, great place. ##### Ashton M. Bathroom vents either did not work or were clogged from not being cleaned in a very long time. Mold around the air vents. The master bedroom on the first floor has peeling sheetrock on the ceiling. It looks to have been wet at one time. When we arrived, the cleaning inspector notified me that the shower curtain in the guest bathroom was missing. Also the wheel on the grill was broke off. She said she would report it.
