There is a dedicated paved path from the house all the way to the beach and it is less than a 10min walk. There is beach parking for golf carts and vehicles with 51 metered parking spaces and 3 ADA-accessible spaces available on a first come first served basis. Folly Field Beach Park: Folly Field Beach Park is a gorgeous stretch of shoreline that is known informally by residents and long-time visitors alike as a "local's beach." Seldom overcrowded, with parking spots that are almost hidden by a line of live oaks and squat Palmettos, the park is a favorite for new and seasoned vacationers alike, and features ample stretches of shoreline located just a stone's throw from the wooded park's entrance. The park features restrooms and outdoor showers. A short boardwalk connects the main parking area with the shoreline, and "beach matting" Is laid down at the end of the boardwalk seasonally, making the route to the shore handicapped accessible. Seasonal lifeguards are also on site, generally from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Folly Field Beach Park is well-known in local circles as a gorgeous, and very convenient, beach access point, and newcomers would do well to find this almost secretive spot for a fun day at the seashore. With a fantastic, close to the oceanfront locale, and all the little amenities beach-goers need for an extended afternoon or daylong stay, Folly Field Beach Park is a perfect example of Hilton Head Island's longstanding reputation as a gorgeous, and generally sparsely populated beach town. Included supplies: Your property will come stocked with a STARTER set (you will need to buy more) of paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent, garbage bags. Pets: This property has a (1) pet maximum, dogs only. Must be pre-approved at the time of booking. All dogs must be 60lbs or under, at least 2yrs of age, and fully trained. Policies may vary property to property. Pet fees are as follows: $350 per dog (1-21 nights), $500 per dog (21-60 nights). The master bedroom was great with a spacious bathroom. The elevator worked well for luggage and just general use by some of my family. The pool was nice for our little guests. We celebrated my niece who has been diagnosed with MS, we celebrated my sister, who is cancer free and we celebrated my mom - Ruby! The property was beautiful and clean. If I had the option for 10 stars, I would give it 100\. The Management company was super nice and accommodating. We did not have any issues. The pool was as warm as the Folley Field Beach! We had s’mores on the fire pit and used the grill one day. The elevator was such a blessing for one of our family members to get around. We had no problems check in was a breeze. The house had ample enough space for all 21 of us. The weather was not great, but the house was exceptional. Because we could not really enjoy the beach due to cool temperatures, wind and rain, the pool was a lifesaver. The entire family was able to enjoy the toasty warm pool multiple times a day. We loved it! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were so very comfy and the layout of the home was perfect for multiple families. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hilton Head. ##### Kim S. Communication with the property manager was fast, one of the appliances stopped working while we were there, they had a tech out there the next day, unfortunately it wasn’t able to be fixed while we were there, which was unfortunate for our family but of no fault to the management in trying to get it replaced ASAP. ##### Lori R. According to the website, the entrance to Folly Field Beach is a 20-second bike ride or a 20-second vehicle ride away. That is extremely misleading. It'll take a few minutes, but it'll be a delightful walk or ride. The pool light wasn't working, and one of the steps was broken, but nothing that couldn't be readily rectified. Despite the fact that the kitchen was not designed to serve 22 people, we ate out regularly and it was well-equipped for modest meals and snacks. This place was exactly as pictured and we loved it! The instructions and directions from the management team were detailed and accurate. The elevator was essential for one of our family members. Our family of ten had everything we needed to cook and dine together. The management team had recommended a place to rent bicycles, which were affordable and dropped off/picked up at the house. Cycling around the island was great fun for family members of all ages. Young kids loved the arcade that was just one street over. I suggest that guests staying more than two nights bring their own toiletries (only because they will run out of what is there). I recommend this house without hesitation.
