This dog-friendly island retreat has marvelous marsh views teamed with island wildlife, and it is all just a short stroll to the Harbour Town marina, shops, restaurants, and watersports. Decorated in a coastal living palate, the home is as light and bright as a perfect summer beach day. In addition to the main house, there is a separate guest cottage with a king bed and private bath. The open concept flows from the kitchen, dining, and living areas to a large deck encompassing the back of the house with relaxing marsh views!

Beginning on May 5, 2025, two weeks after the finish of this year’s RBC Heritage, the world-famous, Pete Dye-designed Harbour Town Golf Links will close for an extensive restoration project. This project has a tentative completion date of November 2025. Views of the course may be obstructed as course maintenance will be taking place 5-7 days a week.

Great Location

This Propery is very close to Harbor Town! One bedroom is not connected to the rest of the house - you have to walk outside the main house to get to it. This set up may work very well or not so well depending on what you are looking for. The two bedrooms that are connected by a bathroom have barn doors on either side and that can make privacy an issue. For example, there is no way to lock yourself inside of your bedroom without limiting the other bedroom access to the bathroom. The Vacation Company was very easy to work with.

Great family summer vacation spot

Great location and house spaces! Easy 1.8 mile bike ride to the Sea Pines Beach club and less than a half a mile to Harbor Town. We had a couple of issues with the home and the management team were great to work with and prompt to fix the issues. Our family had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

Property as advertised - very clean and quiet

We were very happy with this property. The location in the marsh is very peaceful and the neighborhood is quiet. It is very close to harbor town, and the leisure paths. If we had to give any advice to the homeowners/property managers it would be to look into the gas fire table - it doesn’t give a constant or strong flame. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would willingly stay here again.

Convenient location with a nature view.

The house is very comfortable, nicely furnished and decorated, and well maintained. The location is easy walking distance to Harbor Town and Sea Pines Center and has a direct view over the marsh towards Deer Island. Nevertheless, it is away from car and pedestrian traffic. It is quiet both day and night. I have vacationed at Hilton Head and Sea Pines for 5 decades. At Sea Pines, not much has changed over the years. It never got overbuilt and I consider this to be a big plus. What could be improved: the ration of dishwasher soap and laundry detergent could be increased. It seems wasteful to buy a box of tablets when only 2 or 3 more tablets are needed.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The description was accurate and the location cannot be beat. Internet was spotty and those staying in the guest house had trouble connecting at all but we weren’t home much for it to be a big issue. One thing to mention is the pictures showed a bike with a baby seat in the back. The bike rentals do not have a child seat nor could we exchange a bike for one with a child seat. We were able to rent a bike through another company to accommodate our child. Would stay here again. Thanks for a lovely time.

Brief respite in Harbor Town

Great location and super amenities. We truly enjoyed the house. It was somewhat unconventional, but we gave our kids the main house and stayed in the "caddyshack." It was quiet, secure, safe and a bunch of fun. Easy trip to the beach club by bike. easy walk into Harbor town. Easy to do anything from our quiet, tree lined location. The kids loved the wifi speed and connectivity. we all enjoyed the enormous TV for netflix with surround sound. we brought our 11y/o Yellow Lab who truly enjoyed the beach walks and comfortable AC during the day. Super nice property.

Empty Nester stay with dogs

Had our two Golden Retrievers with us. This is the first time we vacationed in HHI with them and we really enjoyed it. Deck and gated area worked well. Sea Pines is very pet friendly.

Great Family Vacation

House was exactly as pictured, clean and easy check in with lock pad entry. House was spacious and accommodating for the entire family with teenagers and adults. Kitchen had everything we needed with gas grill for easy dinners at the house. Door entry did jam a few times but worked after the 4 th try or so. Nice quest house and bathrooms. Great location to Harbour town, and pool. Beach is far but accessible by trolley.

Peaceful Porch

Nice porch with peaceful view of marsh and wildlife. Plenty of room and seating in den and at tables. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Patio umbrella was broken and my husband fixed to be usable. Code on house and 2 of amenity bikes didn’t work initially, but was taken care of pretty quickly. Beach rental chairs were delivered to wrong address and not solved till 2 days into trip. Nice laundry room. Overall a great and enjoyable week!

Great location and layout

We had a great visit at this rental. The layout of the home is excellent for families. The three bedrooms in the main house were very comfortable and spacious. We use the one bedroom guest house as a quiet place to work while we were in Sea Pines. It offered a great separation from the hustle and bustle of the main house while still being connected to all the action when we needed it to be. The deck is extremely large and it was so fun to sit on it and overlook the beautiful marsh and watch the wildlife. We did have a couple issues with the Internet and questions for the management company but they answered them very quickly and were very responsive to our needs. We did have a slight issue with the cleanliness of some of the dishes when we arrived but we were anticipating cleaning them anyway so it wasn’t too much of a hassle but that is why I docked the rental one Star for cleanliness. The location is fantastic and we were easily able to walk to Harbor town for coffee in the mornings to have fun in the playground with our two-year-old and to watch the sunset in the evenings. The rental is well equipped with beach towels, good kitchen supplies, extra bedding and blankets, and even a pack n play. I would suggest to the management company that they create a better welcoming booklet that describes the features of the rental such as how exactly to work the TV (there were like six remotes), how to access the Harbor Town pool and where the key is located, how to turn on the fire pit, and simple things like that. These were not described online or in the guest portal when we checked in. Overall, we had a very enjoyable visit as were comfortable in this rental.

Good spot near Lighthouse

Went here with a party of 10, and the property accommodated us just fine. It is near the Harbourtown Lighthouse, so perfect for that area, quick walk to the pool, and the Harbour Town golf course. But not near the beach, however so you have a long bike ride or car/trolley if you are trying to get a lot of the equipment to the beach. There were a few areas that weren't very clean, including the dishes, that we had to rewash and clean when we arrived.

Great place to spend 4th of July Week.

The overall feel of the house is awesome...everyone from the 2 year old to the 91 year old felt comfortable. The beds are comfy and the view out the back deck is awesome. There were plenty of linens for everyone. There are even beach towels, beat mats, and thermal beach bags that you can use for beach days. Having a washer and dryer right in the house was an extra bonues. There is even a very small dog run off the deck near the Master bedroom that my mother’s tiny little dog enjoyed. There are a few minor issues that every house near the beach fight with due to the humidity, but none of it affected our use of this lovely house. And, the rental company was extremely helpful with everything we needed. Would def recommend the house and the rental company. Thank you for providing us with an awesome place to stay.
