"During our 5 night stay our room was never cleaned, when I requested daily cleaning. When I asked for help the only thing done was towels being dropped off. There is also no where to fill up water on property so we had to keep buying water to make coffee, tea and fill our water bottles."

"I would not recommend this hotel, unless there were no other decent choices. The front desk wasn't friendly or particular helpful both days we were there. Room was not great, none of us slept, roach on nightstand next to me. The reason I didn't give it lower was because of the bar restaurant. We were tired and hungry when we got in so went for the casual food in the bar area. Server was terrific, food was very good and live band playing was honestly incredible. This was the only good thing about our hotel experience. "

"We stayed here with our family for an Easter weekend. It was the perfect place to stay for a weekend on Hilo! It's in a safe, quiet neighborhood that's centrally located if you're looking to enjoy any of the sites local to the east side of the island.We particularly enjoyed the gourmet kitchen, where we were able to grab fresh produce from the Hilo Farmers Market and whip up some great food with the kitchen supplies they had in the house. Felt like we were in our own kitchen.The hosts were very communicative and you could see the attention to detail they spent making their house the perfect place for families looking for a Hawaii retreat. I'm counting the days until I can book another stay!"

"Easy place to stop and sleep while you’re passing through. Quiet, neat, updated. "

"My two daughters and I spent six nights at this property. We have two issues with it. First, the bathroom sink has been completely clogged, it took a couple of hours to drain fully. Upon draining, the sink would be completely disgusting. I told about this to the property owner on the first morning. She shrugged and said she’d ask someone to take a look “at some point.” Nobody did. Also, for the life of me I couldn’t make the bathroom faucet to produce any hot water. So shaving was out of question.Second, the designated parking for this unit is in a very narrow alley next to the house. It appears that other units are being rented out by the owner, so a number of cars is parked in front of the house. As a result, on a couple of occasions I was unable to make a U turn on the property and had to get onto the street driving backwards. And the street could be pretty busy in the morning, so I felt very uncomfortable about this.Otherwise, a nice unit. But I wouldn’t rent it again."
