Within 25 minutes to Lead/Deadwood, Terry Peak or 15 minutes to Deerfield Lake for boating/fishing, or 22 miles to Hill City which is the gateway to Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, and Crazy Horse. Central to all the pleasures of the Black Hills, this is a great place to unwind with the smell of the pines, whispering of the creek, and the peace that comes with 'getting away from it all'. Very clean. Cozy. If you are looking for a place to stay off the beaten path, this is it. It was a trek to get back to the cabin from hill city. Only 23 miles but dirt roads and slow speeds make it a 50 min drive. We still loved the stay even with that drive included.
