EXTENSIVE RENOVATION IS NOW COMPLETE! Breathtaking panoramic long range mountain views from this staggering luxury lodge-style home with a HUGE outdoor covered porch with views for miles! Located halfway between Highlands and Cashiers, NC. This spacious home features four bedroom suites each with a private bathroom, essentially four master suites. The large great room is anchored by a massive stone fireplace and opposite a wall of floor to ceiling windows with stunning views of multiple mountain ranges. These views are even more impressive from the huge covered porch for dining and entertaining with new gas fireplace. This home is a very short walk to the Whiteside Mountain trails, which easily includes the most picturesque trail views in North Carolina, if not the entire eastern U.S. The comprehensive renovation includes all new bathrooms, new kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances and new stone countertops, new flooring throughout the entire home, and all new fixtures and furnishings. Virtually every inch has been updated. The home has been appointed with designer furnishings, bedding, accessories and lighting for a custom, opulent lodge appeal. There are five dining areas inside and out in this home that could seat up to 30\. We were celebrating our friends 40th birthday and had a group of eight women. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen, gorgeous, and we loved having our morning coffee outside by the fire. We traveled during a hectic time after Helene, and we were so thankful that the property and the family were all safe. And boy did it. This home is fabulous. Everything we needed and more. Our group ended up being fewer and much to our surprise the VRBO was equipped with a large generator that kicked in during the midst of the hurricane when power went off. The generator ran for 30 hours before we decided to leave a day early. Up until the time the cell towers went down our hosts were reaching out, concerned, very accommodating and gracious.
