The cabin was beautiful and minus a couple of small hiccups, was exactly what I was looking for. The front door would not lock from the outside, however it did lock from the inside and there was a second entrance. The photos of the upstairs bedroom do not do it justice! It was beautiful! There is no dining area other than stools at the kitchen bar. It was close to downtown Highlands ( as well as Cashiers and other points of interest). The home was clean and well maintained. The backyard light bulbs were not working, but we had flashlights so we could take our pups outside. The location was great...very close to town. Just know that it is on a MAIN road. Very, very close to the road. It might be better to stay here with adults or older children just because I was nervous about my kids getting out without me knowing and possibly getting into that road. So great, convenient place. Just know you are truly right on a main road with lots of traffic. Also, very easy, convenient check in and check out! ##### Katie S.
