Situated on a 164-acre expanse with a private 37-acre lake, the family compound features stunning mountain views. The possibilities for adventure and relaxation are endless: take a hike or paddle across the lake in a kayak. The Space: BLCK Creek consists of two distinct homes and two cottages, that are exclusively private per reservation. Black Bear Manor (the Main House), White Tail Lodge ( the Lake House), Fox Cottage, and Turtle Cove ( Please note that Turtle Cove is only available between April 1st to November 30th). Each adds its own unique charm to your experience. Accommodations can be chosen based on your guest count. Starting with the main house, Black Bear Manor is the heart BLCK Creek - sleeping 12, with five spacious bedrooms, including luxurious bathrooms (three full bath and one 3/4 bath), ensuring privacy and comfort. Take advantage of culinary creativity in our gourmet chef’s kitchen or unwind in the expansive living space of the Family room. The property boasts new furniture and an updated, modern design that enhances its timeless elegance. Upstairs via the grand staircase of Black Bear Manor, you will find the Loft perfect for entertaining family and friends or a quiet workspace. You will find board games, a pool table that converts to a ping pong table, and a Samsung TV. Take advantage of the sitting nook with a large window overlooking the 13-acre private lake with breathtaking views. From the Main House, a stone path leads to White Tail Lodge – which sleeps up to seven guests, with one full bathroom, hosting a clawfoot tub and standing shower. This home offers a three-season sunroom and a full kitchen. White Tail Lodge offers a blend of historic charm and modern luxury and access to an outdoor patio featuring a fireplace for s'mores and a gourmet BBQ grill. A staircase leads to the shared full bathroom and sleeping accommodations: one king bedroom, one full bedroom, a twin daybed room, and a bunk bedroom. The house on the hill is Fox Cottage – sleeps six - hosting a 3/4 bathroom and a kitchenette. Fox Cottage offers stunning views of the lake and a grand view of the estate. Fox Cottage is just steps away from the Hot tub. \*Please note that Fox Cottage is only available between April 1st to November 30th.\* Turtle Cove – sleeps four - with a 3/4 bath. Like Fox Cottage, the hot tub is just accessible by a short walk up a charming stone path. \*Please note that Turtle Cove is only available between April 1st to November 30th.\* Managed by Glasco Properties, a leader in luxury management, BLCK Creek has been meticulously maintained and recently opened to experience. Guest Access: When your booking is confirmed, we will send you an email with our Welcome Guide and our Accommodation Details packet. There is parking for up to ten cars in the driveway. The Neighborhood: Highland, NY, in the Hudson Valley, offers scenic beauty, vibrant local events, and diverse dining and shopping options. Nearby nature like Mohonk Preserve provide outdoor activities. The area boasts historical sites, a rich arts scene, and wineries. Getting Around: There is plenty of parking on the property. The nearest public transportation is a 20-minute drive away in Kingston. Uber/lyft is usually available in the area. Other Things to Note: Seasonal Availability Turtle Cove and Fox Cottage are available from April 1 – November 30. From December 1 – March 31, BLCK Creek is offered as a more intimate winter retreat featuring our two larger homes — Black Bear Manor and White Tail Lodge — which together accommodate up to 19 guests. Group Size & Airbnb Bookings If booking through Airbnb, please note that we can host more than 16 guests — up to 29 total — for an additional charge. Accommodations will be allocated across the available houses based on your group size. Additional houses can be included for smaller groups at a reduced guest count fee. Age Requirement The primary booker must be at least 30 years old. Pet Policy We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee of $150 per dog. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival. Early Check-In & Late Checkout We’re happy to accommodate early check-in or late checkout when possible by blocking the night before or after your stay. This can be arranged at 50% of the nightly rate. Events All events must be approved in advance. Any outside vendors must also be pre-approved and provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI). Interaction with Guests: All check-in/out is done via digital door lock or lockbox. When your booking is confirmed, we will send you the Welcome Guide + Accommodation Details. Door codes & entry instructions will be sent before check-in. Lambert, our groundskeeper of 30 years, lives on site, if you see him, say hi! Everything we needed was there. We were only disappointed in the communication with the property manager due to the holiday and technical issues. If you stay in the winter make sure the fireplace has been serviced as the smoke filled the room due to a faulty draft. ##### Janis F.
