"The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for Schaffhausen as it is opposite the station and adjacent to the old town. Everything is walkable and the Rhinefalls are easily accessible by train. The room was very quiet and well appointed.Breakfast was fabulous. Really wish we had stayed another night as the stay was so pleasant. Especially the little birthday surprise at breakfast. Wonderful!"

"Excellent location, right next to the train station, and the old town. Many eateries and shops. Nice reception staff, we managed to get an early check in. Linked to the basement carpark. We stayed in a suite (sofa bed opens up for 2 kids) and the room is big and well appointed. Only issue was lack of proper curtains at the sofa bed side. Overall a great place to stay for a visit to the area. "

"We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Isartor. The hotel is centrally located and easily walkable to transit (less than 5 minutes) and the Marienplatz (about 10 minutes). The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view of the river and consequently also received sun all day long so it was a bit warm, despite having a few windows. However, when we mentioned this to the front desk staff, they arranged to have a portable air conditioner to our room within an hour (without us asking). ...
