### Peaceful Lakefront Serenity
Relax and enjoy the delights of western North Carolina in this 660 square-foot garage apartment with large deck on the main channel of Lake Hickory. Enjoy swimming, fishing, or just watching the blue heron, geese, and ducks from the dock. There are marinas in the area for boat rentals. (Feel free to dock the boat at our dock, if you do rent one). Relax as the sun reflects off the water. Visit the sights of western and Piedmont North Carolina.
Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Asheville, and the mountains are all within an easy drive. Enjoy shopping for furniture at the Hickory Furniture Mart or along US 321, gem mining in Hiddenite, races at the tracks in Hickory, Charlotte , or golfing at local courses.
The fully furnished kitchen, and tastefully decorated bedroom,bathroom and living room make this a wonderful place for a one- or two-week vacation or longer-term exploration of retirement possibilities. This quiet, peaceful location is just minutes from downtown Hickory and several nice restaurants
Retirees and soon to be retired -- this is a great location to check out possible retirement homes in western and northwestern North Carolina: Hickory, Asheville, Hendersonville, Boone, Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Greensboro areas are all close enough to scout out and still come 'home' each night. For extended stays in the off-season, call for special rates.
There are outdoor cats that live on the property. They are not allowed inside Lakefront Serenity.
There is one security camera located by the main house front door. This is beside Lakefront Serenity allowing viewing of the driveway, and the side of the garage. There are no cameras located up by the apartment entrance or private deck.

#### Perfect Lake Retreat
Loved it. Everything was as listed. Quiet and clean. Loved sitting on the porch watching the boats go by. Super close to our friends marina so boat pick up and drop off was perfect. We met One of the owners, Faye. She is lovely. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. The town is super cute too! And Twisted Vine Winery was a perfect Saturday afternoon stop!

#### Great property in a great location!
My husband and I had a great time getting to know a bit more about Hickory. This property was in a great location to go kayaking right off the back dock, then go over the bridge to a nearby trailhead for hiking, then to the city walk for dinner and socializing. We plan to come back during the summer. Thank you!

This was my and my husbands first out of state get away and it was absolutely amazing thanks to this location and host. Everything was easy from finding the place and getting settled to the Check out. The location is so relaxing and yet close to everything you could need. We look forward to staying again.
