This two story, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home has two bedrooms with Queen beds and one bedroom with a Queen bed and an extra long twin bed. There is a pull out sofa on the main floor and a roll away bed that can be placed in any room. The main floor living/dining area is spacious, with rich dark wood floors. The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a 5 burner gas stove. There is a Keurig and a drip coffee pot, crock pot, toaster, tea pot, blender, mixer, cookware, a propane gas grill outside, and place settings for 10+. The second floor laundry room is also available for use. The enclosed porch is lined with windows that overlook the boat launch (across the street), and there is a pizza restaurant/full bar next door. The park/boat launch across the street has a great picnic area with outdoor grills, modern bathrooms, a playground for the kids, and a sandy beach for swimming. We also provide a seasonal pass to enter the park if you want to launch your boat. Please note that the house is located across the street from the lake, and there is not a place to dock your boat overnight at the boat launch. I've known Jeff for years—he’s a great family friend who we've come to know over the years as my parents live down the street on the lake. It was wonderful to spend some quality time with my small family during our holiday visit to my parents. We felt comfortable using dishes, towels, sheets. The location is directly across from a lake/boat dock. Ned’s restaurant is in the same parking lot basically and has really good food and ice cream. It’s also just a short drive from gas stations, shopping, grocery stores. Lake Michigan was a little bit of a drive but worth the effort. The owners are always around if you need anything but they don’t hover. It really was a perfect stay for our family. All the bedrooms upstairs can control their own air conditioning which was nice. This home was perfect for our family of 6 adults and two children to gather for an extended weekend! Very clean, good sized, well equipped kitchen, large deck, and a very spacious enclosed front porch, where we spent a great deal of our family time. The bedrooms were a good size, a couple of mattresses could use upgrading, but were adequate for our stay. The boat launch, small beach, and park is directly across the street. My 3 year old grandson loved watching the boats line up as they awaited entry into the park. The house is on a busy road, but traffic noise was not an issue when inside the home. Ned’s restaurant is a stones throw away for dine in, or take out, which they will deliver right to your door, also ice cream available for that evening indulgence. The location was excellent and the place was so clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped , and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on a deck and watched the fireworks . House exactly as pictured, clean, well cared for, organized, stocked well with a lot of thought! Owners were very responsive, thoughtful, and kind.
