Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 45-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The kitchen , dinning, living room and half bath is on the main floor. There is also a screen porch and a sun deck off the main living room.
Bedroom #1 is on the top floor, Queen bed, Tv, shared bath in hallway.
Bedroom #2 is on the top floor, King Bed, Tv, shared bath in hallway.
Bedroom #3 is on the terrace level, bunkbeds with 4 twin mattresses, full private bath, couch, arcade game, and a tv.

Lake Chatuge is a TVA lake. The lake levels vary throughout the year. There is no water under dock From usually September -May. Please contact host to verify if dock can be used for your purpose.
\* The house is located on a small cove, the house next door owns the small platform dock in front of this house. People
will potentially walk across the bottom end of the yard near the lake to get to that dock. Your dock is the big double
decker to the right side of the yard. Please respect the neighbors.
There is a camera on the tree looking at the entrance to the dock.

#### Great place on the lake
Thought this was a great place on the lake. I think we would have enjoyed it more in the summertime, but even in December it was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub. A little difficult to locate but you can trust the GPS. This house and several others are close together but staggered by the lake front.

We had a great vacation at this lakehouse! The house was very clean and well stocked, both kitchen and baths. Plenty of linens and comfortable furniture. The yard was kept well-mowed, so walking to the dock to fish was not very easy! The dock was a nice size and provided some shade on the lower levels. Not a ton of fish to catch on the dock, but with some persistence, my husband caught enough to make a meal. Beautiful neighborhood to walk the dogs. And Hiawassee was just a few minutes away for necessities and restuatants.

#### Nice house
This was a nice house with a great dock and screened in porch. It definitely met our needs for the week. The hot tub was nice since the weather was a little cooler than anticipated for August. The kitchen could be a little better stocked (there were no oven mitts, only 1 dish towel, and some limited selections for pans/small bowls). The upstairs shower/tub didn't drain well. The beds were comfortable. The property was convenient to everywhere we needed to go. Having the necessities (soap, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, trash bags, etc) was very nice!

#### Sunshine inspite of cloudy days!
First let me start by saying questions and communication prior to our arrival were answered quickly and in such a friendly way.The property is by far one of the nicest VRBO's we have ever stayed at! It was immaculately clean, exactly as described and was well stocked with all the necessities to get started.( Paper towels, tp,dish soap,hand soap...on and on!) There were plenty of towels and all of the sleeping areas were comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything needed to cook anything from hamburgers to a gourmet meal! The only thing we wished we could have changed...the weather! It was rainy and unseasonably cold but we made the most of it! I would definitely recommend this location for families or a friends group! Hats off to the management company that has done an awesome job! Cheers to Priscilla who was such a gracious hostess!

The home was well equipped with all necessities. Disappointed that the lake was low so no fishing from the dock was possible. The outside patio furniture have not been maintained and cushions were stained. Appliances in the home were old and some broken such as the keypad on the microwave and the door handle to the freezer portion of the fridge.
