The pool is being refurbished yes, a necessary task to ensure our resort stays at top standards, we understand there is never a good time for this to happen and because of this ensured that the SECOND pool was heated for your enjoyment. With all of our bookings, it does state room bedding and that no extra charges are applicable if utilising existing bedding. We are able to see that on this most recent stay you were not charged for extra bedding. We do this because our linen is supplied by a local service, so it is not the hotel's linen. We apologise if this caused any confusion at all.I am sorry that your mum tripped on the floor track for our Shoji screen doors - unfortunately, this is not something we are able to alter - however, as can be seen in some of your photos supplied, some apartment owners have installed the strip to this area.Again, many thanks for your feedback - we hope to be able to welcome you back for a return visit soon.Kind regards

We have been communicating our pools outage via all booking platforms since works began in August of 2022. In addition, we have messaged all guests immediately upon booking via these platforms (Expedia included), and offered no charge cancellations, or date changes if guests do not wish to stay due to the pools being unavailable. As was the case with your reservation - records indicate that the automated message was sent to you immediately on booking at 10pm at night. All of our marketing and communications of the pools outage has been fair and transparent throughout. Kind regards
