There was plenty to do when the weather was rainy and more to do when we got some sunshine. The kitchen had everything we needed when we decided to make dinner at home one night or for bringing food in from local diners. The location was perfect for us that were looking for a low-key, relaxing location, but close enough to cities when we wanted to go do some touristy things. We loved the water views. The area was so nice. Everyone is friendly. We loved learning the history of Edenton. We did the boat tour, trolley tour, and the lighthouse tour. We loved Hertford and Elizabeth City.
