The home was completely gutted and remodeled in 2016 and features a hot tub on the covered porch. There is an air hockey table in the game area and of course, FREE WiFi and Dish TV with FREE movie channels. The kitchen is a large full size kitchen. The dining area table seats 6\. There is a twin size day bed with trundle in the game room. We supply complimentary coffee, coffee filters, cream, sugar packets, salt, pepper, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, firewood and camp chairs and of course, FREE WiFi. Pine Ridge is affordably priced. This home is part of Timber Ridge Outpost and Cabins. All guests will check in at our ice cream and gift store, Garden of the Gods Outpost. \* Please note this property does include a $100 refundable hot tub damage deposit. \* Located just minutes from the famous Garden of the Gods Wilderness area, Pounds Hollow lake and Rim Rock in the Shawnee National Forest, this little gem is right where you want to be. There is a pavilion on the resort property (Just minutes from the location of the house) for all guests to enjoy with tether ball, horseshoes and bags (corn hole) games as well as a catch and release pond for fishing. Please note you do have to include an accurate number of guests we do count children. The base price is for two guests and anymore than two guest is $10 per night per person extra. Timber Ridge Outpost and Cabins is ranked #1 in our area on TripAdvisor with over 200 FIVE STAR reviews. Come see what all the fuss is about and go home with memories to last a lifetime! \*\*\* Pets and Kids:\*\*\* We are a Pet and Kid Friendly resort. We allow up to two pets per unit for no additional charge, however, we do require a credit card to be on file in the event there is any damage to the unit or its furnishings. To remain a pet friendly resort, pets that are aggressive towards other dogs, cats or people, will NOT be allowed. Pet owners assume ALL liability for their pets. We do have cats on our property so if your dog is aggressive or likes to chase cats, please leash them at all times or do not bring them. We love our pets too. Aggressive animals will be asked to leave immediately. All pets are required to be current on shots and must be protected with Flea and Tick medicine BEFORE you arrive. If you forget, we do have some for sale in the Outpost. All pets must be crated if left unattended in the units. No exceptions please! For your convenience, we do rent crates of all sizes for $8 per visit (not per night) but it is BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket). Please call us in advance if you will need a crate in your unit. Please note, we will automatically charge your credit card for any damages done to the units, furnishings, linens or towels. Although we have never had to charge someone for damages, you will be required to sign a paper stating that you agree to these charges in advance. In the event this is ever necessary, we will provide photographs of the damages. PLEASE help us remain a pet friendly resort and just let us know if your pet had a bad day and accidentally chewed the towel or corner of the rug. We ask only that you reimburse us for the cost of the damaged item. Even if your pet typically doesn't jump on the furniture, PLEASE bring thick blankets to cover the furniture with anyway! This goes a long way to helping the cleaning people get all the dog hair up before the next guests arrive. Thanks! All guests MUST check in at our ice cream and gift shop Garden of the God's outpost at 281 Karber's ridge road. Once checked in you will be given your door code, wifi password, local information and a map to the cabin you are staying at. Currently the Outpost is open Monday-Thursday 10a-6p and Friday-Sunday 10a-8p , if you'll be arriving after hours please call the Outpost at 618-264-9091 to arrange after hours check in. Everything about our stay was delightful. The hot tub was amazing and relaxing. The only issues we had were the TV and the lack of foil and containers to put left over food in. The property was clean, and uncluttered, as expected with no unpleasant surprises. The hot tub was very nice and crystal clean. Jan 26, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great spot for a few days in Shawnee Ive been down to Shawnee a few times for the New Year but this was our first stay (but hopefully not the last) at this great cabin. It was a great location - minutes from Garden of the Gods and close to our other favorite hikes in the Bell Springs area. The cabin itself was clean, with a nice kitchen, 2 nice bathrooms (with plenty of hot water) and bedrooms and fun stuff for the kiddos (my daughter loved the air hockey table). The hot tub was a real treat after a day of hiking in the cold. Andrew was great to work with for booking and day of check-in communications. Highly recommend. ##### Kari K. The cabin was beautiful inside and out! Very spacious and well kept! Extra blankets and pillows galore. All the kitchen necessities that one would need. My family and I came for the weekend. Unfortunate circumstances happened when we were 25 mins away and we had to return home. That was 4 1/2 hrs away! The owners were more than awesome about the whole thing! We ended up returning the next day. Upon arrival the owners left us a condolences card for my family and I!! I know that doesn’t count for much for most, but it meant everything for us!!! So very thoughtful and sweet!! They also offered other very sweet accommodations!!! Thank you for a beautiful reminder that there are great people in this world! We will definitely be back!!! The people who work at the outpost where you check in were all very kind. Property is in a great location in respect to garden of the gods and multiple other trails. However, it is located on a busier road. We had an issue where the batteries in the cabin door lockbox died and no one answered the phone when we called. But we drove up to the outpost and they gave us batteries. Listed in the amenities in body soap, but there was none. My boyfriend had to use the dish soap. Lol. There are definitely some maintenance issues that could use some addressing. For example, half of the jets in the hot tub don’t work. The faceplate on the drawer in the bottom of the oven falls off when you open the oven door. And the sink in the kitchen is slow to drain. All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. ##### Brittany K.
