The apartment is fully equipped and can accommodate 6 persons (more if they sleep in the living room). The whole apartment is surrounded with spacious balconies including the 2 bedrooms. All rooms are air conditioned and the whole apartment has central heating. All 3 bedrooms are fully equipped with huge closets and space. One bedroom can transformed and used as children's room with toys and a bed suitable for a child up to 5 years. The spacious living room provides a relaxing environment and has a dinning table. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchenware a large fridge, a refrigerator, oven, microwave oven, cooking hob, dish washer, coffee machine and an islet for eating. The 2 beautiful bathrooms are relaxing with showers. Guests have and are encouraged to have access to all facilities of the apartment. Guests have access to 3 balconies. I provide around the clock accessibility to facilitate the needs of the quests. I offer total comfort and privacy to our guests. At the same time I am fully available to help as needed. I am also open to sharing moments, stories, tips for sightseeing, info on the best beaches, restaurants, cultural attractions, bars, etc. The unique location of the apartment provides a peaceful but colorful street with several taverns just moments away. All the major sites of the city are just within walking distance away from the apartment. The beautiful old port of Heraklion the archeological and historical museum, the four lions fountain (Morosini) are all within your grasp. Restaurants and take away food are a stone's throw away and guests have a large variety to choose from. Also, for the those that want to party, all the bar and clubs are close to the apartment and you can have a variety to chose from. Getting around the city and its sites requires no means of transport as all the major attractions are within walking distance from the apartment. All major transport means are within walking distance from the apartment (busses, taxis). Distance from the airport to the apartment is about 5 minutes with car and so is the port. Guests can find 3 parking facilities located within 1 minute walk from the apartment and can rent a space for their car (which I can help you organize) with an easy access to the major exits for the highway. All major resorts and beaches are about 20 minutes from the location of the apartment. Also the famous archeological "Knossos Palace" is about 15 minutes away. For guests the book with me I have several suggestions regarding restaurants and drinking with a special discount set for them. This apartment is my home but during your accommodation you can surely and freely call it home. Since I live in this city my whole life and I want to consider myself as a social person I can assure you that I can provide with all the tips or information you might need during your stay. I can provide information on the best restaurants and taverns, the best beaches around Crete, the best bars or clubs in the city or even give guides for renting cars or bikes. The pictures are an accurate representation. It was in a great neighborhood. Our host met us at the apartment for check-in and had a binder with lots of helpful information. The only issue we had was the amount of hot water. We were with our 3 grown kids, and there was never enough hot water for all 5 of us. The water is heated via solar panels on the roof, so you’ll need to stagger showers. Definitely recommend the place though! ##### Ami M. They said they had an issue with their calendar and it was double booked. Apparently, my family and I were not chosen to be the ones to keep the reservation and the other group did get to keep itI would look at other reviews to base your decision if you are still considering because maybe this was a one-off situation and we just had bad luck.We ended up getting a hotel at the last second (not many options due to the late cancellation) in the same vicinity. Car parking was located a few blocks away but very easy to get to. Alex was great with many recommendations and available for questions. Close to many cafes and bars and shopping. Alex was there to greet us and had really relevant and useful information. The apartment was excellently presented, clean and well presented.
