The Hotel was nicely located to be able to reach different signs by foot with a nice restaurant right across the street. Unfortunately, the AC condensated onto the floor.

Lovely stay at Kastro Hotel

Had a really nice stay at Kastro! The staff were all so lovely and helpful whenever I needed assistance from start to end. The breakfast was also great and location was perfect. Definitely would stay again!

Great location. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. Very enjoyable. The door knobs were a little al hard to figure out, though.

Parking is a premium on the street but the hotel has an arrangement with the city for parking at 8 euro/day The breakfast was first rate!

Pros: The hotel location, beds , breakfast buffet and cleanliness were all fine. Cons; The check in was not smooth at all. The reception was rude in communication . The washroom was a bit smelly.

Room was very clean. The Sheets changed every day. Room was always tidy. Bathroom was clean every day shows attention to it. All appliances were clean and new. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The only problem"" No fox American English station on TV. Only CNN and Blumberg business. The breakfast and offered were plenty and coffee was excellent (two machines) Pancakes,Scrambled Eggs Tomato and Sausage. Fresh fruit,Butter for toast,Rolls,Bacon.Very tasty.For the price for a room who get allot for your money! YES. I reccommend this hotel.

Great hotel for a quick stopover in Heraklion. Comfy beds and friendly staff. The streets around are quite narrow so if you plan on having a rental car, just be aware.
