It is sad though that you felt uncomfortable with the number of families and kids that have also chosen to spend their vacation with us during the same period like you. These are not the feelings that we want to create for our guests. Our resort has been recently redesigned, with the vision to create a place where everyone can feel welcome and relaxed without the need of any effort. Besides the excellent architecture and the modern design, our facilities and services have been enriched with new thematic restaurants, periodical bar and culinary events with renowned bartenders and chefs, a rich yoga & mediation activity program, cinema evenings and extended opening hours for our kids club. Having sustainability at the core of our philosophy, we have introduced a number of environmental innovations, with planted rooftops, own organic produce that is used in our a la carte restaurants, purchasing policies that support the local producers and communities, even the creation of the PHĀEA Farmers program that supports and encourages hotel employees to produce biological products that are exclusively purchased by our hotels.This holistic approach of Cretan hospitality became attractive to different kind of people, from single travelers and couples, to families with kids of any ages. We feel that our resort is a beautiful place for everyone but we can also understand that single travelers or couples like you, might want to know in advance that our resort is also ideal for families and kids. As Cretan Malia Park is not an adult-only resort, we have seen that this information, as well as the number of rooms are visible in the introductory page of our resort on the website of Design Hotels and our Website. We are terribly sorry if this important information did not get your attention before booking our resort.At the same time, we describe at all websites that our bungalows can be at upper or on the ground floor. The fact that you had a very short stay of just three nights led us in making a nice gesture by upgrading you in a Bungalow Side Sea View. We are sorry if that was spoiled by the fact that the guests below were smoking at their terrace, something that is in fact allowed at all outdoor areas, but not in the rooms.We thank you for your honest feedback and we hope that espite your negaive review, we will have another chance to welcome you back in the future in our resort.With kind regards

Dear guests, we really appreciate your detailed feedback and we want to thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with other people. We are sorry if there was a defect with your A/C unit. We are satisfied though that we could at least find an alternative accommodation option for you, since the damage could not be fixed immediately. Our river pool is public and open for everyone. Every guest could use it, however guests who have the swim up rooms, have dedicated sun beds at the pool side as part of their package, something that is a real benefit. We’d be really interested to learn more about your experience in our a la carte restaurants, both the positive and the negative. If you wish, you may as well contact us directly. Due to COVID and the size of our gym, we have a limited participation of only 4 persons per hour slot. Yet, our gym is open and bookable form 8am to 10pm. Sometimes, people book space indeed and then they o not show up. We can only guess that when people are in vacation and they relax, they often reconsider their plans at a very short notice. Once again, we thank you for your preference and we hope that you will be returning to our beautiful island soon.
