Newer Construction! Minutes from Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest!

Serenade Shores is a newer home on 4+ acres overlooking a privately owned pond. Our newest addition is a floating dock! The location is 10 minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest and 12 minutes from Dupont State Forest: a perfect jumping off spot for hikers, mountain bikers, fishermen, kayakers and anyone who enjoys the outdoors. We are also located just minutes from three boat launches on the French Broad River. If you need to work, we have high-speed cable wi-fi. We also have streaming cable TV via Comporium and FireStick. There are three smart TV's - one in the living room and one in each main level bedroom. The home has an open floor plan with plenty of south facing windows to take in the pond view and winter mountain and river views. There is a stone gas fireplace for chilly nights and a gas grill on the wide covered porch. There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds on the main level, each with a full bath (one is private and one opens to the laundry/mudroom) as well as a loft with a queen-sized bed and a full-sized Serta foldout sleeper loveseat (very comfortable with no bar). The finishes include oak and tile floors, stainless steel appliances (oven/range is gas), and granite countertops in the kitchen and baths. Fall trip!

Great weekend getaway

We had a great weekend at the house. Very relaxing area and quiet. Beautiful land. The pond was great and our kids enjoyed fishing (they caught a few bass and tons of bluegills). The house was in great shape, very clean, and stocked with all the supplies we needed.

Great Stay

Mountain Getaway

Wonderful weekend getaway

Amazing property. Tucked away in the woods, yet close to so many rivers, trails, and towns. We used this property as basecamp during a recent fly fishing trip, and it was perfect! Can't wait till or next visit.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Y our home was absolutely awesome! It was spacious and inviting. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We used the porch everyday to watch the fish, turtles, and birds. We enjoyed watching the rain while sitting on the porch too. The inside of you home was very open. We are all glad that you shared your home with us and allowed us to spend a great weekend away.

Secluded cabin close to everything

The cabin was very clean and so was the property. The private lake was great for light fishing and the trail around the lake is perfect for a small hike. We would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat. Thanks Colleen!

Serenade Shores

Beautiful and serene setting. House was perfect for four adults and a 17 year old who loved the loft! We used the grill, ate lots of meals on the porch, walked our dog around the pond and listened to the frogs on the pond. Kitchen was ample. In house washer and dryer. Beds were comfortable. We had a peaceful time- just what we wanted!

Liked it so much we came back

Our second visit was just as nice as our first. The cabin is in a great location near all our WNC favorites (DuPont, Pisgah, Brevard, Flat Rock, Hendersonville, Saluda) and has a lovely pond where our son loves practicing his fly fishing. The house is super clean and well stocked, and the owner responsive and friendly. We’ll be back!

We have planned a trip to the Biltmore, and wanted a place that was comfortable and quiet. This was certainly the place to be. Nice location among things we like to do such as shopping, eating, and sightseeing. First time by a pond, and absolutely loved it. Even caught a fish that I let go. We will definitely be back because we want to check out some hidden treasures.

Mountain Retreat

Our 12 night stay was exceptional! High quality furnishings and appliances. Colleen was very responsive to any questions and check in was super easy. The house had everything we needed and was immaculate. We all enjoyed the porch with the peaceful view of the pond, although my husband didn’t have much luck fishing. Access to both Brevard and Hendersonville was less than 20 minutes and both towns were charming. We would suggest some sort of anti skid tape/guard for the last step from the loft.

We enjoyed our stay at Serenade Shores. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The house was perfect for us. We did some fishing one evening and caught a 1-pound bass. So, there are fish in the pond. If you want to be close to everything but yet far enough from civilization this is the place to stay.

Great spot to relax and recharge

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house and the property were beautiful and peaceful. The house was very clean and everything from booking, checking in and checking out were extremely easy. Colleen was very helpful with any questions concerning places to see or great eats nearby. Walking the property and fishing in the pond were the highlights of our stay. We even saw some deer and bunnies on one of our walks. I had a whole itinerary of places to go during our vacation but the house was so peaceful we mostly just stayed in and relaxed!
