Bikers and hikers will certainly enjoy the easy access to Dupont Forest as one access trail is located within short walk or bike ride from the cottage. The cottage is nestled in a small valley on a 30-acre working horse farm along Shoal Creek. For rest and relaxation, the cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin size beds. We visited over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed exploring the local area, including Pigsah National Forest, DuPont State Forest, Hendersonville Apple Festival, and Brevard shops and restaurants. The cottage is wonderfully situated to take advantage of the areas natural surroundings. A short 5 minute drive to a five waterfall hike in DuPont forest, 30-40 minutes to Pigsah and the Blue Ridge Parkway. And 20 minutes each to Hendersonville and Brevard. The owners were very accommodating, very responsive and helpful, and showed pride in keeping the cottage clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the horses across the street. And it was so close to DuPont Forest! We had a few rain showers come through which were relaxing to watch from the covered porch. ##### Heather R.
