This cottage is a charming and newly renovated three-bedroom property located in the heart of Porthleven. This historic fisherman's cottage, dating back to 1880, offers a perfect blend of traditional features and modern decor. The spacious living room includes a cozy electric wood burner effect fireplace, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests to unwind after a day of exploring. The cottage is just a short walk from the harbor, beaches, restaurants, and shops, making it an ideal base for a Cornish getaway. The property accommodates up to five people with two double bedrooms and one single bedroom, and is perfect for families or small groups. The location of Scallop Cottage places guests within easy reach of a variety of attractions. Porthleven is known for its vibrant local scene, with many independent restaurants, pubs, and boutiques to explore. Guests can visit the nearby National Trust estate of Penrose or take a short drive to attractions like Marazion and St. Michael’s Mount, or explore the stunning Helford Passage. The cottage is also well-positioned for access to beautiful beaches such as Praa Sands, St Ives, and the Lizard Peninsula, offering something for everyone, from water sports enthusiasts to nature lovers.
