The staff here are extra special
Loved this hotel.. the staff are what really made it special. The 2 receptionist covering the evening were kind snd extremely helpful. I arrived hoping to get something to eat but was tokd there was no food available at the hotel. However the girls who were also Bilingual helped me over food which was promptly delivered and delicious. The bar is well stocked and the hotel is very quiet

Few hours of rest
Perfect stop for a night sleep after many hours of driving without getting too far from the motorway. Very clean, great breakfast and excellent service.

Excellent stop-over!
Excellent overnight stop to just off the A2. Very close to service station for re-fuelling as well but you would not see the station as it is well hidden. Hotel is very comfortable and functional with friendly, helpful staff. We were very tired so we ordered dinner in our room - faultless. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of meats, cheeses, jams and breads. The sausage and scrambled egg was very tasty. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Helmstedt region.

Stopover between Italy and Denmark
A short stop on our way from Italy to Denmark. Found the hotel at Hotels.com and booked a room. Arrived 10 minutes later and was received by a friendly receptionist and was checked in within 5 minutes. Went to the restaurant for a dinner. It looked like the restaurant was staffed by inexperienced people and we got the impression that a senior person to guide the young people would have been appropriate. That is my reasoning for a neutral service vote The room was good and clean, the breakfast good and an easy check out made it easy to continue our journey towards Denmark

Really nice hotel and very comfortabel
Really enjoyed the room, very comfy and clean! It is a shame that I was forced to double pay on checkout as they hadn't received the pre-payment from Expedia!? Saga continued after claiming the money back as they only refunded partly and I was forced to contact for the third time in order to receive the pre-payd amount in full from the hotel!

Very good hotel which is a pleasant walk from the old town. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Excellent choices for breakfast buffet. There is a restaurant but we didn't use it. The staff were very nice and spoke good English. There is also a sauna but we didn't use that either. Only one downside - as they allow pets in the hotel, we had to share a very small lift with people who had two dogs and the doggy smell was not pleasant.

Clean but don't buy food from Restaurant
Hotel was conveniently located and in a quiet area. Beds were comfortable, extra pillow would have been nice. Extremely dissapointed with the food provided by the Hotel restaurant, over priced and no value for money. Definately not prepared by a chef and should have taken heed of previous review in this regard.

Beste hotel dat in de weide omgeving te vinden is. Kamer is niet groot en beetje gedateerd. Qua netheid niets aan te merken, personeel is vriendelijk.

Vores oplevelse var ikke god.
På vej hjem fra ferie valgte vi at tage en overnatning, det var vigtigt at vi kunne benytte et hotel tæt på motorvejen og at der var restaurant, så vi ikke skulle ud og køre yderligere. Ved ankomst fik vi så at vide at restauranten var lukket, og kun havde åben om morgenen, så vi måtte alligevel ud og køre igen. Det på trods af det står på hotels og deres egen side at restauranten er åben om aftenen. Vi havde booket 2 værelser, på det ene af værelserne kunne der ikke komme varme på, så de to gæster som boede der blev nød til at sove på vores værelse da det var alt for koldt at opholde sig der. Næste morgen skulle vi så i bad inden vi skulle køre det sidste stykke af turen. Men det var ikke muligt da der ikke var noget varmt vand på nogle af værelserne. Vi gjorde dem opmærksom på det men de kunne ikke gøre noget, vi blev heller ikke tilbudt at “låne” et tomt værelse hvor vi kunne tage et bad. Ved ud tjek forklarede jeg om vores uheldige oplevelse, han sagde at han ville vende tilbage. Det er dog aldrig sket. Vi vælger et andet næste gang.

Wir waren zwar nur für eine Übernachtung im BW-Helmstedt, aber für ein 3 Sterne Hotel ist dies schon die gehobenere Klasse, auch das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet hat uns überzeugt.
