Pet friendly for a high price.

Posted 22-Apr-2018
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Address smoked fill rooms. More reasonable pet fee.
Location: Easy access from Interstate.
Changed room three times. Non-smoking room reeked of smoke. Charged twice for my pet

As always I felt right at home in your room. Very comfortable and relaxed. Halls echo real bad but not enough to be an inconvience.

Lovely architecture

Posted 17-Apr-2018
Pros: The beautiful architecture and layout.
Cons: Having showers down by the pool area.
Location: Not much to do, there is shopping and food within about 10 minutes.
The young lady at the front desk clearly was not trained in customer service. As she was helping me, she left to go answer the phone and then was on the phone for like 7 minutes while I sat waiting. And her supervisor wasn't much better. Since I only had very little interaction with the front desk people, I would consider my stay very good.

HUGE!!! This place was built for events.

Posted 26-Mar-2018
Front desk staff were great at check-in and throughout our stay. From a trained eye in the hotel world, I observed the front desk was training a new employee. What was remarkable about the training was the gentelman (clean cut, late 20s-early 30s, didn't catch his name) was very discreet about his coaching, so good that if I didn't do his exact job I wouldn't have even noticed. The room was very had a great color scheme and nice modern art. There was a pretzel hanging out underneath the bed skirt that we didn't bring in, but other than that it was very clean. We were very happy with our stay and I if were managing the operations I would be proud of what service the Radisson Helena offered.

Comfortable, clean room.

Posted 12-Mar-2018
Pros: Quiet, clean. Spacious room.
Cons: Room service!
Location: Close to interstate and airport. Also close to Capitol and tourist areas.
Only complaint was the Room Service. Chesseburgers were delivered raw. Dining facility made no attempt to remedy our cost. (They took $5.00 for each burger off the price...but still charged us the $4.80 gratuity.Burgers were $10.00 each plus a dollar each for salads instead of fries.) Rest of our experience was nice...just don't order room service!!!

Convenient

Definitely worth the money. I stayed a Sunday night, disappointed the restaurant was closed for dinner. The staff told me of the restaurant, but neglected to tell me it was closed on Sunday for dinner. My only objection...

Wi-fi did not work!!!

Posted 4-Mar-2018
Stayed for Friday and Saturday night. Wi-Fi did not work at all. To many people on the server. Talked to the front desk twice about the issue. First time was told that other guest were experiencing the same problem, especially if you were using Apple devices. I was offered the 800 number for the network provider. (That does not seem like my job to call and figure out what is wrong with the hotel internet router.) The second night I spoke to the front desk, I was told that they would have maintance reset the router. Needless to say we never had wifi, would have stayed elsewhere if I had known.

Save yourself $60 and stay at Motel 6

Posted 25-Feb-2018
This was the most everpriced hotel I have ever stayed at. I really don’t even know where to begin, so let’s begin with the positives, the check in was simple and easy. The woman behind the counter was pleasant and kind. That’s where the goods ended, the room was filthy. The floor had stains in the carpet, and the comforter on one of the beds was stained with who knows what. The bathroom had used soap left over from the previous visitor and the tub basin had hair all over it. The shower curtain was stained with a multitude of colors. The pool area had little sugar ants everywhere and the jets in the hot tub were broken so the water was shooting everywhere. The staff seemed to be more interested in the conference that was going on rather than the chum that paid using Expedia. Finally, breakfast.... everywhere else LaQuinta, Hilton, Fairfield etc this was continental breakfast that’s included with your stay. Typical eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, you know the basics and they wanted $10.95 a plate. No thanks will not be staying here again!
