Nicest Hotel in Helena

Pros: Huge rooms, comfortable beds and nice bathroom.
Location: Close to everything, whether flying in and out, getting to Carroll or downtown Helena.
Moving our sons to Carroll. We arrived late, which made no difference. The hotel is updated and the staff very friendly. Our room was spacious, beds extremely comfortable and looking forward to staying there for parents weekend.

Good Stay Overall

Hotel was a Red Lion and was taken over by Radisson about 8 months ago. The place is being renovated, so there was some construction noice through the day. Otherwise the room was extremely comfortable, bed was one of the best we have every slept on. Accessibility to the city was easy from this location. Once the renovations are done, I believe this will be a very good place to stay. Only recommendation I would make is having someone on the front desk with more people skills.

Cons: The lighting in the room was a little low.
The rooms were very nice. Clean and simple, they were very pretty. The bathroom was fantastic and the shower worked great. The hotel stuff was super kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend them!

The Front Desk Grinch

Our stay started out fine. The gentleman that checked us in was helpful and courteous. However on day two when I needed to check in another room that I was holding for my parents the woman at the front desk first of all was put out that I came up at the front desk at an unopportune time or something to check into the room at 5 pm. At that time my wife had come down to the front to let them know that we had not had housekeeping yet and the woman was very rude and said " housekeeping was not done yet and they would get there when they had a chance." We went out to dinner and upon our return at 10 pm we still had no housekeeping . I called down to the front desk and the same woman answered when I explained that our room was not done her comment was "well what do you want." I told her we would at least appreciate clean towels for morning she asked how many and said she would send some up. She was extremely rude with all encounters. The hotel was nice, the room was nice; however I would never stay there again or encourage anyone else to either.

No one told us the hot tub was out of order

Not happy. 120 dollars for a room and the hot tub was not working. No dining room was closed.

Excellent place to stay in Helena

Our room was very clean except the bathroom floor was sticky, so we just put the bath mat down. Shower was great, lots of hot water at 6:00am. The beds were firmer than we had expected, maybe they put in new mattresses since last year's stay. There was a fridge and a microwave. We always stay at this hotel when we pass through. It's open and spacious and the staff are very friendly. The only thing that would make it better is if they did something with the restaurant. It's more like a cafeteria. When we went there for dinner there was not one person sitting in the restaurant nor were their any staff to be found. We ended up in the lounge for our dinner. I have to say the bartenders were very friendly and gave us excellent service. Could have been more food choices, but hey it's a bar/lounge.

This is a nice facility, quiet and clean. It appears that it has recently been upgraded inside. The room was spacious with a nice tv and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on in a motel.
