The views off the covered deck and the surrounding foliage are worth the trip alone!
A spacious and open floor plan on the main level gives you the ability to entertain for dinner and relax with everyone in one room with plush seating. Have a blissful night's rest on plush mattresses in luxurious high-thread count linens and fluffy pillows on all beds. Awaken to the craftsmanship of the antique and early American furniture throughout the house. Enjoy the mountain views in Amish rocking chairs and comfortable seating on the covered deck while you sit back and sip on your morning coffee or favorite beverage. The Mountain Laurel's namesake is a 360-degree view of Scenic Mountain Laurel, Rhododendrons, and perennial flowers around the property which makes a wonderful Spring/Summer/Fall photoshoot! Relax on the well-maintained fescue grass lawn playing yard games and enjoying the views with family and friends around the stone fire pit in Adirondack chairs. The owner even provides you with a starter firewood set, kindling, and fire starter for your first fire. To top it off…indulge yourself and relax in this private setting in a HOTSPRING 5 person 38 jetted therapeutic jacuzzi spa!

IMPORTANT Notes:
The cabin is located in HIAWASSEE, GA about 35 minutes away from Helen, GA
Minimum Age of primary renter: 25 Years Old.
Pets NOT allowed, $200 fee if evidence of pets
The road to this cabin is paved most of the way except the last 10th of a mile that is gravel.
The max number of vehicles in the driveway is 3.
Bring firewood for the fire pit or can be purchased in town
Seasonally decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas Tree, right after Thanksgiving and taken down right after the New Year's holiday
We provide complimentary essential products to get you started for your stay, such as 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 trash bags, 2 laundry pods, 1 bath soap per bathroom, and 1 pack of coffee. Be sure to bring extra of these items and any other items you may need for your stay

#### Perfect Getaway Cabin!
The property is exactly as described. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable. We loved the jacuzzi spa and fire pit outside each evening. Woke up to a young deer our last morning there! We highly recommend and hope we can return soon. Beautiful location near to many activities and towns. Five stars!

We really loved staying at this cabin! The cabin was super clean and fully stocked. The hot tub was large and really nice. The view is amazing. When we go to cabins, we normally don’t have comfortable seating for our family to watch a movie at night. The seating here was perfect. Very easy check in and check out and communication was simple. There were many hikes nearby for us to do each day. We would stay here again!!

#### Perfect Hideaway
We enjoyed this property very much. The location is perfect, secluded with a view. Everything was clean. The listing is accurate. We will return to this rental again. Hopefully soon. They had everything - both kinds of coffee makers, towels, pots and pans, everything!! The hot tub is new. There is a fire pit we did not get to use because of rain. But bring wood!! This is a perfect spot in the woods to relax. We were late checking out and the owner was super nice to us. The master bath tub is big and has a view of the trees. Like taking a bath in a treehouse. There was nothing at all annoying about the place for us to ignore. Truly perfect! We will be back!

#### Relaxing Getaway
If you’re looking for a place to hide away from everything and everyone for a little while this is the place. I really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub while being surrounded by nature. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. And you’re not too far away from local accommodations like a grocery store, gas station, etc all within 15 minutes. Tons of hiking, and Helen was only a 30 minute drive.

We spent two nights in this homey and very clean cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with items to prepare meals. We spent most of our time on the inviting porch looking at the beautiful mountains & lush surroundings. It is obvious that the owners take good care of this property. It was super clean. Home was very nice and clean. We made sure to use the hot tub to relax at night. We would rent it again. Make sure you know that third bedroom is on overlook to living room if privacy is an issue and you had a crowd which we did not. Perfect get away for our weekend away.

The house was well stocked with the things we needed (dishes, cookware, firewood, etc.) My only complaint is that I wish we had booked for longer. Bonus: We got to meet the owners and they are as lovely as the house. Thank you! We will be back!

#### Nice vaccation in the mountains
Pros: Very nice and clean property. Hot tub was a great addition after long hikes. Great location. Close to town and nearby attractions. Property is very private and well taken care of. Cons: when power is out due to storms/ rain be prepared to have to water either. 2 out of 4 nights we had no power in the evening or/and night. Wifi is available but very weak connectivity.

#### Worst mattress ever
The mattress in the master bedroom was terrible. Had two big ruts the size of the Grand Canyon. I only got one good nights sleep the last day I slept sideways on the bed.
