Summary:  
An absolutely unique property in every way. A gorgeous 10,000 square foot luxury mountain lodge 6 bedroom/6.5 bath lodge combined with a 3 bedroom/3.5 bath 5,000 square foot rustic chic "barndominium" with seating for up to 30! Your neighbor is none other than the Chatahoochee National Forest.

You must be 28 years of age or older to book this property. We are a pet free facility to accommodate our human guests sensitive to pet dander.  
  
The Space:  
You will have access to two of Bison View Lodge's three cabins; The Main Lodge and the Helen Barn. Pickleball courts are newly constructed and will have lighting by September of 2024.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
Stargaze under the ultra dark North Georgia sky where on a clear night you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Located just 5 miles to Downtown Helen, Georgia's #1 Tourist City. This amazing luxury property is the perfect unique experience for your small company retreat or family reunion. Your neighbor is none other than hundreds of acres of pristine US Forest.   
  
The property, in total, consists of 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, all en suites, which is extremely hard to find in North Georgia! Plus two, 1/2 bathrooms.   
  
Let's talk cleaning for a minute...we do it better than anyone else. At Bison Lodge, we launder all the linens, including bed coverings every single time we change over guests. Believe it or not, most properties do not because of the expense. We believe in a "Ritz Carlton" level of clean.   
  
We use a commercial laundry service that cleans with exceptionally hot water to make sure your linens, blankets, and towels are beautiful, soft, and most importantly very clean. We also use high quality Alen air purifiers that take dust out of the air. We have the best air quality in the mountains! We know our cleaning fee is high, and that's why. We have a reputation of attracting the highest quality housekeeping teams because we pay them higher than average wages.   
  
THINGS TO DO IN HELEN:   
  
We feel we have the best location in North Georgia. Just 15 minutes to Georgia's #1 visited resort town - the Alpine Village known as Helen. Tube the "Hooch" as they say or eat some great food in town. There's even a roller coaster in Helen. Helen is also home to a genuine Alpine Octoberfest from September to November.   
  
If you want something a little more sophisticated consider a Georgia Winery tour along Georgia's Winery Highway.   
  
Rent a boat, jet ski, or other watercraft on Lake Chatuge, just a 20-25 minute drive from the lodge.   
  
The hiking and waterfalls in this part of Georgia are some of the nation's best and you don't want to miss the Ana Ruby Falls. There are numerous other waterfalls to find in this area as well. The Appalachian Trail runs over the very mountain you will be staying on.   
  
Bring your ATV or 4x4 and explore many of the area's off-road adventures.  
  
Getting Around:  
All roads leading to the cabin are paved with the exception of the last 2.8 miles. You will travel a gravel road maintained by the US Forestry Service. When traveling this road, you may encounter potholes and ruts from mountain water runoff. We regularly drive our own standard passenger cars on the gravel road, as does our housekeeping team (ex: Toyota Camry, Honda Accords, Subaru Outback), and others. Bison View Lodge LLC is not liable for the condition of the road and not responsible for damage to vehicles or accidents. However, it is traveled daily by passenger cars, trucks, and SUV’s, and delivery vehicles. It is important to follow the directions emailed to you and NOT A GPS APP.

#### A Perfect Mountain Escape

The Bison View Lodge is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Tucked away on the outskirts of Helen, GA, you're just close enough to the town, yet far enough away to truly unplug. Large enough to accommodate large groups and has the right bed to bath ratio as well. Everything you need to host a large group getaway is there.
