Be sure to check your old baggage at the Mountain’s footstep- pollution, traffic jams, loud planes, running late, confusion, crime, and stress; the bears, beavers, deer, eagles, wild turkeys and all the other wildlife want to keep it Simple, Clean, Fresh, and Peaceful.
We invite you and your family to our home, “Eye Candy” a.k.a. 'The Overlook' at Lake Chatuge; nestled in Ramey Mountain, high above the trees with Breathtaking Million Dollar Views Year Round!!! Just a few hundred feet from the protected United States National Forest, experience the Peace and Tranquility that the North Georgia Mountains have to offer.
Our guests can best describe 'The Overlook' at Lake Chatuge:
'A marvelous view, almost beyond words. You just have to see it. This mountain getaway has it all. It is quiet and relaxing, yet not too far from food and fun. Many excellent places to eat and shop nearby.'
'The atmosphere is charming and the home has all the necessary amenities. The wrap around deck is accessible from each bedroom. Take advantage of the grill on the deck or just spend some quiet time there. You must experience the hot tub at night and the sunrise in the morning. One of the better places we've stayed in some time.'
'What more can I say than AWESOME! This vacation rental is by far the best rental property I have stayed at in the North Georgia Mountains. The view of Lake Chatuge is breath-taking!'

Stunning lake and mountain views made the stay feel peaceful and special. The space was cozy and comfortable, the fireplace added the perfect touch, and the hot tub was an amazing way to relax while taking in the scenery. Everything was exactly what we needed and more. We stayed the week of Christmas and had a wonderful time. We would absolutely stay again.

Such beauty from the back porch. We spent most of our time out there or in the hot tub! Surely the majesty of God is in this place. We slept like babies. Enjoyed cooking together and just spending time together. Everything we needed was in the home. We saw all kinds of wildlife from the back deck!

We had a great stay at Eye Candy! The views were amazing...enjoyed them daily! The washer/dryer is a good perk, AC worked so well and the home has a good layout. #### Peaceful Blue Ridge Mountain Escape with Stunning Views
We had a truly unforgettable stay at this peaceful mountain retreat in North Georgia. The breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Chatuge from the wall of windows were absolutely stunning—pictures don’t do it justice!The home was spotless, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable, with plenty of space including three bedrooms and a cozy family area perfect for relaxing. Though we found it ideal for a romantic getaway, it could easily accommodate a small group or family as well.Doug, our host, was incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. He provided a thorough guide to the area, which included recommendations for restaurants, activities, and more. We also enjoyed the selection of board games and TV service available for downtime.We only stayed two nights, and it definitely wasn’t enough—we’re already planning to return, hopefully many times in the future!

The view of the lake and mountains from the porch is awesome. We loved staying at this house for a week. Hot tub on the deck was great after hiking all day. Had some great meals at the marina which was right across the street when we come down the mountain. So much stuff to do in the area.

The cabin is a bit older, but is very nice and cozy. Doug was amazing and provided exceptional hospitality. The cabin has EVERYTHING you need to cook and relax during your stay. The view breathtaking! The pictures do it no justice and the hot tub is the cherry on top!

We all enjoyed the gorgeous house & the spectacular views. The hosts provided a cozy home with beautiful mountain decor and a very relaxing atmosphere. After having to cancel a booking due to a pending snow storm, then rebook for a different time period, the host was a pleasure to deal with & he went out of his way to assist however needed. I look forward to visiting here again!

#### Quick weekend reset.
Place was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Beautiful Mountain Views, amazing star gazing back porch with hot tub(Personally didn’t use). Was local 1 hour drive from multiple hikes, waterfall, dining, winery’s, breweries, resorts and national/state parks.

Property was super clean, everything was in good working order. Views, hot tubs, and fireplace were amazing. Doug was very responsive too. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here!

#### Great Place to Get Snowed In!
I brought my kids up for a forecasted snow weekend, & it was just what we wanted! We had plenty of snow, we enjoyed the hot tub and deep tub in the main bathroom, the WiFi was exceptional, and the beds were very comfortable. Just a note for those braving the winter weather - we did get snowed in, but only because the municipality didn't plow these specific roads. So just FYI to anyone who might wish to do the same. However, the owner was very communicative and helpful. Overall, I loved staying here and making these memories with my family!
