The owner thought of everything,from bottled water in the fridge to coffee for the next morning, extra towels and linens and even brochures of local attractions. Walking into town was never a problem, and there were plenty of close restaurants, general stores, and gas stations. May be a little more than walking distance to the center of the village for some (older folks or on a really hot day). For us parking near the village was easy (visited in late July). $10 all day parking and you can leave then return later for no extra charge. Made going back to the unit to clean up then return for dinner a snap! The condo was clean, modern and had all the necessities. A good value. The property manager checked on us just enough to make sure all was ok but not too much to feel watched. Only down side (if there is one)… would be nice if the deck were screened in. Scenic view of the river from the balcony. Well appointed amenities- host very accommodating! Being within a reasonable walking distance to all the downtown has to offer we just parked and walked to many locations including the amazing Fest Halle. The immaculate detail to decor and cleanliness made the rental peaceful and cozy. The location was perfect for a romantic setting on the river.
