Helen, GA is centrally located to Hiawasee, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Sautee Nacoochee, Lake Burton, Lake Vogel and Brasstown Bald, the highest natural point in the state of Georgia. North GA is also known for its Great trout fishing, zip lining, tubing and wines tasting. Visit Three Sisters, Frog Town, Wolf Mountain and Habersham Wineries just to mention a few. Our cabin has easy access to all Helen has to offer and is a short walk (1/4 - 3/4 mile) for shopping, dining, bars, tubing and water Park. They also offer go-carts, horse rides, hiking, biking, kayaking, mountain roads, views etc within a short drive. The cabin is private and semi-secluded with plenty of parking space. North Georgia also has abundant wildlife, many hiking trails, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Enjoy the mountain Laurel in the Spring, the colorful foliage in the fall, warm mountain air in the summer and maybe even a touch of snow in the winter months. My 9 year old son loved the loft. He and his dad enjoyed playing “Helen-opoly” which helped us learn more about the town. The hot tub was awesome. Everything was very clean. We arrived late the first night and it was very dark, but easily found the cabin thanks to the updated directions. Private and quiet, and still close to town. ##### Polka T. It works really well for our family, being walking distance to tubing and some of the stores and restaurants. A bit far from the center Helen, but that's a tradeoff for being in the woods.
