Small creek on the property along with groomed walking trails. 1 mile from your first winery, many restaurants and about 10 miles from the heart of Watkins glen. Peaceful and private. 1 mile from finger lakes national forest. Perfect for hiking and bird watching. Kayaking and boating within 10 miles. The space First floor of a completely renovated barn. A mini split may have worked better to keep the unit cooler. I would also say the property needs to be sprayed for insects. We saw a few large spiders during our stay. Overall great weekend away. This is a quaint little hideaway not far from Seneca Lake, wineries, Watkins Glen, hiking, and waterfalls. We were visiting the area for Cornell graduation and our anniversary. It’s about 30 minutes to Ithaca, and about 15 minutes to Watkins Glen. The property is very secluded. We weren’t sure we were at the right place at first! Even though there is also an upstairs apartment, it felt very private. We enjoyed coffee on the covered back deck and walked on the mowed trails through the property.
