Heavenly Mountain Resort lives up to its name it is the place to be in Lake Tahoe in winter. Visit one of the many eateries for lunch if you have worked up an appetite. For those of legal drinking age, the ultimate après-ski fun is the Unbuckle party near the peak. Afterwards, take the gondola down to Tahoe South for the nightlife. You can walk to the casinos in Nevada.Heavenly Mountain Resort in Tahoe South has all the amenities you need but doesn’t offer on-site accommodation. It’s an hour’s drive from Reno–Tahoe International Airport, and connected by express shuttle services. The gondola takes you from the resort village to the mountain.
