« Very accommodating, comfy beds (a real +). Kitchen fully loaded with supplies (including spices and condiments). We spent so much time down on the dock crabbing and fishing. Our dogs loved the freedom and space. Made friends with others in the area and did dog walks with them. »

« We visit the area a lot to see family so I've stayed in quite a few rentals here. This is my first time at this property and I would stay again. Looks just like the listing. I appreciate the simple layout for our needs. 3 bedrooms meant we were comfortable at night. I thought the one king bed was pretty soft and the other firm; both comfy just think that's helpful to some to know. The living area and kitchen/dining space aren't huge but again you should know that from the pictures and it worked...

« Guest check in was very easy. Property owner was very responsive and offer information. The house was very beautiful and extremely comfortable. Had everything you need linen and kitchen wise. Enjoyed fishing and water activities with provided kayak, canoe and paddle boards. Cell service, internet and on demand TV were great. Private dock is a very short walk from the house. Will mention the path going down to the dock is a little bit of a down grade hill but very easy to walk. The dock is great...

« I went with my mother and my two teenagers. This cottage was absolutely beautiful inside and out. There was everything a person could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The views of the river were my favorite. We hope to return soon. »

« This property was so clean, the views out the windows were spectacular, and the water is right there! I greatly enjoyed the kayak and my dog just loved the privacy he had to play in the water. We could not keep them out of the two kayaks that were provided. Evenings at the fire pit were great. My younger grandkids loved all the toys and games that were downstairs. « So much fun to stay in a 1917 farm house. Unfortunately didn’t appear haunted but we did have a mouse visit last night. We probably should have anticipated that in a farm house & put our snacks away better. Loved the view, the hot tub, firepit, the very comfortable beds, the veranda/sunroom, etc. We would’ve made use of the kayaks had the weekend not been a total rainout. We did make good use of the rain boots for a beautiful walk. Perfect getaway location. »

« Memorial Day weekend my family and I wanted to get away and recharge. We have four children ranging from 16 - 6 y/o and 2 dogs. This rental property was perfect for us! When we were not at Hughlett Point Beach or Compass Entertainment Center, the children enjoyed the garage with darts, foosball and basketball. We be played games at night and enjoyed the morning sun out back. My husband and I were able to walk our dogs with ease and got to explore the neighborhood. I would recommend this property...

« Beautiful spot on the river - we enjoyed getting out in the canoes and kayaks, lounging on the hammocks, playing cornhole, and cooking out on the deck. The home was comfortable and plenty of room for our family and kid’s friends - we had 8 total at one time. We’ll be back »

« We were sold on the rental because of its size, location, and pet friendliness. The hosts provided an immaculate, spacious, and attractive rental, complete with bedding and towels. The kitchen had all the necessities, including lots of flatware, mugs, glasses, plates, pots and pans. Dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig were also provided. Full clothes washer and dryer made it possible for us to do our laundry and pack it clean for home. Home is nestled overlooking the river. Expansive windows...
