Positioned on two acres, this private retreat is filled with enough activities - a pool, whirlpool, putting green, bocce court, sauna, home theatre, and gourmet kitchen - to keep friends or family occupied. While the private location feels a world apart, Healdsburg Plaza is less than three miles away. The house is organized around a open floor plan living room, kitchen, and dining area, which enables easy entertaining. The window-lined space affords views of a waterfall in the back house, or a loggia and the pool and vineyards beyond. A gourmet kitchen is well-equipped for wine country entertaining, and a heated outdoor dining area allows for al fresco meals any time of day or night. The main house has 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, and a guest cottage has a home theater, a bathroom, and an additional sleeping area. The 40-foot pool provides a cool break in hot Sonoma days, and a vine-wrapped trellis offers shade. And the pool can be heated, if you'd like to pay for the propane. Professional landscaping provide a beautiful backdrop. Rosemary and roses cover the grounds, and an orchard includes a fruiting orange tree and an olive grove. There was never a shortage of fun things to do at the house, and the proximity to town and so many amazing wineries gave us plenty to do whenever we wanted to explore. The location was excellent, only 2 miles from the town square. The amenities were fabulous!! We used the Sauna and pool every day, also the fire pit and hot tub!! Used the cute mini-putt course a few times too! :) So great to have all of those things available and working well. Kitchen was well stocked w/dishes, utensils, & glassware. Great towels/linens. & Having the little "Cottage suite" off the garage was a nice addition for our big group. Really, I can't say enough great things about this home. The owner and property manager were BOTH excellent & responsive resources prior to our arrival and provided me with many great local recommendations for winery visits and restaurants. The amenities (pool, golf, lounging areas) meant we didn’t need to go into town at all (but since it’s so close we went for ice cream, of course). The house had everything we needed to cook great meals, spend all day by the pool, and enjoy puzzles and games inside. I was especially impressed by the gorgeous landscaping, cleanliness, and abundant necessities like towels and kitchen supplies. The host and property manager were responsive and welcoming and we will absolutely be back to enjoy the house and Healdsburg again! ##### Madeline P.
