Hotel is OK

this hotel is ok. It is an older hotel that has had some upgrades done. No breakfast. We had some issues at check in. No one was at the front desk and I had to actually call the hotel twice while standing in the lobby to get someone to finally come check us in. The fridge in our room made terrible noises all night long. The beds were somewhat comfortable and the place was clean. I would not object to staying here again for a short stay.

Remodeling

Newly purchased by a young couple who is in the process of remodeling. I gave it a 5 star review because the room was clean! It was in a great location. Not much amenities to offer as far as nice towels and such. The coffee wasn’t good but Burger King is in the same parking lot. We only stayed one night passing through on a long trip.

The front desk attendant was lovely and kind. Elevator is out of service, so my room was changed to the first floor. Hotel rooms are very outdated. They seem like they're not clean, but they probably are. Sheets are clean, but top blanket is old. But it was cheap and a location I needed.

They have done some work on the rooms. Nice vinyl floor. Rooms recently painted. Only problem our second room didn't have a comfortable chair to sit in. Service was great arrived early they got us a room ready for us. While we waited we had a comfortable place to sit.

Ok for a quick stop.

The Super 8 was ok on cleanliness. No live critters that I saw. Beds were clean and overall appearance was ok. It could use a deep cleaning and outer blankets had pet hair on them. My thoughts are that they are using the wrong type of blanket that is hard to clean because of the type of material it's made from. There was no coffee maker which is important to me. I need my coffee. The desk chair was unusable. The cloth chair had a towel hanging over the back as a cover. There was a red substance on the bathroom door that we determined to be red nail polish. (I hope). There was a washer and dryer for occupant use down the hall but the dryer wouldn't dry the clothes and we put over $6 worth of quarters in before they were dry enough to wear. Overall the Super 8 was ok for a quick stop but not where I would spend many nights.

The manager is a professional. The Motel is a Super 8. I chose not to stay there and paid a one night penalty fee. I just wish the Motel 8 corporation would update their motels

Awful water

Hotel screen desk was very nice helpful. When the water came out of Is the faucets it Looked clear, but if you catch it in a cup, it was brown.

THERE ARE COCKROACHES!!!!!!!! There is no breakfast. The owners smoke who knows what in the hotel with doors open fanning out the smoke into the disgusting hallways. I can’t even describe the smell it’s so awful. I plan on calling the health department. I’m sure nothing will happen though. The place should be condemned!

CON :no continental breakfast..just coffee watered down..baby crying late into night..could not sleep..did not see receptionist when we left..no one around..construction on rooms..front door window dirty..mirrors dirty..cigarette butts around front door..would have been more apealing if a bit cleaner.. PRO: room was clean..did not smell like cigarette..just a place to sleep and shower..no carpeting..i liked that
