Better than we expected! Views were stunning! Well stocked kitchen! Great layout! Well kept property! We only had 2 cars in the driveway, but plenty of room for more - if necessary! We will definitely return next year for our yearly outing to Wilksboro. The only “down side” was the lack of screens on the doors. The weather was perfect to keep the AC/heat off and let the fresh air in, but due to the bugs and lack of screens, we had to keep things closed up. The upstairs master porch door had a screen which would work for the other entry doors. Just a suggestion, not a deal breaker. But would cut down on the electric/gas bill. Gorgeous place! We had two young children and it was pretty easy to childproof. We did buy a childproof doorknob cover for the stairs leading to the basement because the lock didn’t work. We also recommend that the owner write a note about the stove. The “Cooktop On” light may stay on even if it is off. Other than that, everything was perfect. ##### Kristy K.
