We will definitely return next year for our yearly outing to Wilksboro. The only “down side” was the lack of screens on the doors. The weather was perfect to keep the AC/heat off and let the fresh air in, but due to the bugs and lack of screens, we had to keep things closed up. The upstairs master porch door had a screen which would work for the other entry doors. Just a suggestion, not a deal breaker. But would cut down on the electric/gas bill. Gorgeous place!
