Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is old but kept clean and tidy. Carpets in rooms need replacing. Beds were comfortable and shower was good.

This hotel has a lovely view over the sea and the sofas in the lounge area are comfortable. The small pool and jacuzzi were fun. Staff are friendly and try their best. However, they could do with more staff. Breakfast had one young man on duty who was doing his best to seat guests, refill food and beverages but it was hard for him to keep up. Some breakfast food was nice however it was disappointing that the fruit looked several days old with drooping dried out grapes and despite labelling gluten free etc, my daughter could get oatly milk but no dairy free spread for toast. Our room was small but clean and the long brocaded curtains added charm however I was disappointed the bedside lampshades were torn - surely this is an easy and cheap item to replace. It felt like it had seen better days. Its a good location - 15 minute walk into the heart of Falmouth and the garden is pretty.

poor service reported shower head defective to reception did not get replaced until the next day i had to report it again.Could not open room windows to allow fresh air in .no lighting on steps on exit to street also poor car park lighting lots of pot holes .Only one 1person on check in and out .our room was a executive sea view room

The Falmouth Hotel is a beautiful old building, conveniently situated on the seafront with magnificent views. Our room was extremely spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff were very friendly and helpful. Some of the building appears very tired looking and could do with an update.

Jacuzzi has yellow water and the chemical smell makes you think you might go blind, the changing rooms for the pool are extremely filthy with the amount of hair there I’d be able to make myself a wig, if not several, no keys for the lockers. Odd stain on the pillow thanks lord it was one of the decorative ones. Asked for the room to be serviced after discovering a blood stain on the sheets, came back at 1pm room was not attended to, came back again at 5pm room yet again not serviced, 7pm the room was attended to, finally. The breakfast staff very jolly and nice, same with reception. Poor choice of food within the hotel restaurant, breakfast options ok nothing crazy, your typical restaurant choice of food. Overall not clean but at least people are nice.

Our stay at the hotel was good. It's great and right on the sea front. Our room was large and comfortable with good facikities. We enjoyed spending time in the lounge with friends, having a drink. Our only complaint was breakfast which was definitely not worth the money and there's more choice at a Premier Inn. It was very disappointing there was no fruit whatsoever and no sausages. We spent lots of time looking for things like sides plates, spoons etc. As I left, I mentioned about the breakfast and I received a weak apology. This was such a shame as everything else was good - but we did not have any other meals there.

Enjoyed our stay as we usually do. Only slight negative was the bar closing at 10pm. I accept that there were only a small number of guests staying, but it was close to Christmas!

The hotel was charming in a nice old fashioned way.The facilities and service were excellent. So nice to have the staff actually talk to you unlike going to some modern chains. Our room was large, the bed was massive and really comfortable. The luxury of having a bath and shower was brilliant and to cap it all we had a sea view too. Breakfast was very good too. We had table service instead of a buffet which added to feeling like we were getting great service and meant the food was freshly cooked. 5 minutes from the quayside and high street so we'll placed. We wouldn't hesitate coming back and if you want to stay somewhere with good old fashioned service, you may enjoy it here as well

Falmouth Hotel
Great location, next to beach nice hotel but rather faded grandeur - overpriced vs others in vicinity. Clean but threadbare condition . Breakfast was worst example of buffet style . Staff very nice but bar extremely expensive. Parking can be an issue if the car park is full and you do not get a space ( quite likely ) - no overnight parking in street . .
