"We had a great night staying in the Yurt at Gorgeous Stays! We found it very last minute and it ended up being a highlight of our NC road trip. "The hotel is in a newer building, so everything was clean and well-maintained. However, the service was disappointing, especially at check-in and the food court. Check-in took about 40 minutes, which was frustrating. The Starbucks experience was even more confusing. We were waiting in line for our morning coffee when the employees suddenly left for a break in the middle of serving customers. This caused a long delay, and I couldn't understand why they would all take a break while customers were still waiting. Aside from the poor service from certain staff members, the hotel itself was nice and in good condition. It's a shame that the service didn't match the quality of the facilities."

"Hotel was noticeably old and there was a lot of active construction items laying around. Lots of junk items laying around. Under the awning there was an old drink machine laid on its side being used as a catch all for empty cans and other trash. At one time I told the room attendant that we did t need total room service but if we could just get two towels and would Be good. She told me that ALL the towel were used up and she didn’t have any more to get me any. I must say this upset me that “there were NO MORE TOWELS at the property”? So I told her to go to one of the empty rooms and get me two, which she did. Other than that it was a place for me to sleep out of the rain."
