Safety & Accessibility Staircase Concerns: This property has several staircases, both within the home and leading down to the lake. The stairs to the lake are particularly steep and numerous. If you or any member of your party have mobility concerns or difficulties with stairs, please consider this when booking. Caution During Wet & Winter Seasons: The stairs can become especially slippery when wet, and we urge guests to exercise caution at all times. During winter, due to hazardous conditions, we strongly advise against using the stairs leading from the house down to the street and the boat dock. Road Access Limitations: Please note that there's no available space for dropping off guests on the lower road for dock access, as the shoulders are extremely narrow. Six adults attending family reunion & activities around the Lake. Selected property for the number of bedrooms, baths and open floor plan. The large kitchen island and dining area is a nice place to congregate for meal prep, dining and games. Would not recommend this for families with little children or those that can't handle stairs. Most bedrooms are downstairs on lower floor and lack of handrail. Extremely steep stairs to dock. No shoulder on the road next to dock, not that safe to drive down and drop off people at dock. We did tackle the stairs and enjoyed the wonderful kayaks (two single kayaks, one paddle board and three newer life vests provided). Pros: - Lake & beautiful sunsets views - Quality appliances, wine fridge, BBQ, W/D, A/C, TVs - Good supplies; kitchen, bath & laundry - Close to marina and town for groceries and errands - Management company is very nice and personable Cleaning oversight: - Coffee filter was full of used grounds upon arrival. - Bunk room needed better vacuuming for all the down feathers, probably from comforters.
