Welcome to Konea 1026, a luxurious two-bedroom, two-bathroom top-floor condo at Honua Kai Resort & Spa. This spacious 1,285 square foot unit boasts a unique floor plan with lanai access from both bedrooms, offering breathtaking ocean and mountain views. The open-concept living area includes full-width Nana glass walls that open to the oversized lanai, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Enjoy your morning coffee with views of the West Maui Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The kitchen features sleek granite countertops, Bosch stainless steel appliances, an electric cooktop, oven, and a full-size fridge and dishwasher.

It is highly recommended that you make a reservation in advance as this is a popular dining option at the Honua Kai Resort. They also offer poolside food service to the 3 main pool areas.

🌺 Whaler's General Store: Conveniently located in the Konea lobby, Whaler's General Store conveys the essence of old Hawaii with a modern twist. Here you will find not only great Hawaii gifts and souvenirs, but also snacks, toiletries, and everything else that will make your stay in Hawaii enjoyable and memorable. The selection of gifts, toys, food, and drinks will make sure you don't miss anything - or anyone - on your list! Start your morning off right by grabbing a fresh cup of coffee or muffin. Almost perfect.

The unit was fully equipped, clean and we loved the location. The 10th floor gave us a view of the mountains and the ocean. It was almost perfect with two exceptions. These seem to be building issues There is no towel service so we washed towels almost daily. The Bosch ventless dryer takes at least 2 hours to dry a load of towels. Plan for it. Get at least two uses out of the towels provided. The AC system is basically controlled from one bedroom. For the entire unit to be cooled, all bedroom doors must remain open. Management was very responsive. They sent someone to “fix it” but it didn’t improve. Being near the elevator was convenient. This didn’t bother us but it can be heard.

Konea 1026 at Honua Kai

The property was beautiful and very spacious. Prior to arriving at the resort I received a text msg stating early check-in was available. There were no issues during our stay and the condo was equipped with everything you can possibly need including beach chairs! The balcony faces the mountain and being that it’s on the 10th floor, we enjoyed the sunrise every morning. I would definitely stay here again :)

Great Stay in a Great Unit and Great Maui Westside Support

Maui Westside (MW) was completely supportive through our stay and responded to any communications within minutes of contacting them. MW's communications were always professional, complete, and client oriented. The property itself was as advertised and very well equipped and very comfortable. Everything functioned as described except for a minor issue with the AC which we didn't discover and report until we left. All of us would book this property again without a second thought. Highlights for us were: 1) Size and layout of the unit. Basically, two master bedrooms totally separated by the common areas. 2) Resort amenities and parking were included in the price. 3) Unit was remodeled in the last few years. 4) Views (major view of mountains and minor view of ocean). 5) They provide you with an app for your phone that provides a comprehensive guide to the unit including contact information. Things to be aware of: 1) The actual master bedroom can hear some subtle elevator machinery noise at night. We felt the noise was so minor that it never really bothered us and it would never make us hesitate to book this unit in the future. 2) All properties in this area may experience some odor emanating from the sewage treatment plant on the other side of the highway. We experienced a very minor experience with this odor a couple of times. 3) First car parks in the underground parking. Any other cars park outside in one of the many spots.

Beautiful place

The place was beautiful, just as described. We’ve stayed at this resort quite a few times and have loved it every single time. The only issue I can mention about this unit is that this is the first unit next to the elevators so you can hear the elevator motors especially during quiet times; ie night time and through the night even in the mornings. Other than that, the place was amazing.

Beautiful and blissful

My family and I so enjoyed our time in this property--it was spacious enough for 5 people, the view was stunning, the balcony was such a nice space to rewind, and the location was central (short drive to Whalers, walking distance to the beach and incredible food trucks, and proximate to nearby towns). We did not want to leave and cannot wait to return next time we visit Maui! The only negative is that the check-in staff and concierge at the Honua Kai were not very pleasant. Check-in goes through the staff at the bell desk and it was a bit discouraging to begin our stay with unfriendly staff. Also booked several activities through the Honua Kai concierge--neither of the two staff members were helpful or pleasant.

Loved our stay there. Most everything was ideal. Ice maker did not work well, but all kitchen appliances were top quality. Well equipped unit, except missing a spatula, which is a must have for pancakes.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Friendly staff, clean, bracelet/key convenience, towel access convenient. We had a hard time getting ahold of anyone for more bathroom paper so ultimately found resources elsewhere. Hard to find staff to help at times. Otherwise a great stay.

Beautiful home, beautiful location

We've always loved staying at Honua Kai but this property is amazing. It's really big, so well stocked. Pack and play, high chair, sand toys- it's AMAZING if you have a little one. Can't wait to come back.

Great place

The condo was great! Beds were so comfy. Having the full kitchen was so nice. The only complaints were that the living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable. It was only used at night though. The bathrooms could have used some storage. A cabinet or something so that you don’t have all your toiletries out. Other than that, it was wonderful. We weren’t expecting a great view…the resort was amazing. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect

My wife and I stayed with another couple in this unit and couldn’t be happier. Everything about the unit is perfect. Really appreciated the provided beach chairs and cooler. The resort is amazing. Tons of pools and a nice beach as well. Highly recommend.
